Interior

The Sanlorenzo SL90A is asymmetric and therefore has no side deck on one side, which allows for a larger saloon area. There are vast customization options in terms of layout and color schemes offered by Sanlorenzo.

Walking through the saloon, the size is impressive and can be compared to a larger yacht. There are clever design features like the section of the bulkhead that drops down to floor level, providing a window, and the owner's cabin on the main deck, which is unusual for a yacht of this size.

Also showcased are the raised pilot house, a day heads, and extensive storage space. The Sanlorenzo SL90A features a spacious main deck master cabin, which has a dressing area, built-in TV, and private side access door. The steps leading down to the heads and walk-in wardrobe have a clever design, as they utilize the sloping deckhead to extend the main deck master area.

The lower deck holds the guest cabins. There is an impressive VIP guest cabin, with its large windows that can be opened completely, and the ensuite with a rainfall shower. The two additional guest cabins, boasting ensuite bathrooms and rainfall showers, also impress. Notable highlights are hidden televisions behind mirrors and luxurious finishes throughout.

On Deck

Heading to the upper helm, Nick appreciates the openness of the design and the control screens. The flybridge is commended for its various amenities, such as the large dining table, ice maker, wine cooler, and sunbathing areas. A highlight here is the adjustable sunbathing lounges, which can be moved around according to preference.

Viewing the lower exterior of the yacht, highlights are the asymmetrical side decks and the massive sunbed on the foredeck.

Crew Accommodation

The galley, which is connected to the saloon, has its own can side door and therefore can be kept seperate from the guests. The crew cabins have direct access to the galley. There are two crew cabins with bunk beds, ensuites with showers and a mess area. There also are separate air conditioning controls for the crew, laundry facilities and access to the monitoring systems.

Performance

The engines are on V drives, positioned further back in the boat to allow more space for accommodation.  They are a pair of MTU 2000 horsepower engines, giving the boat a top speed of 29 knots.  At a low speed of 10 knots, you can achieve a range of up 1000 nm.  At a cruising speed of 25 knots, it can achieve up to 350 nm. The engine room itself is compact, clean, and well-lit.

In Summary

Overall, Nick is impressed by the Sanlorenzo SL90 Asymmetric yacht, appreciating its clever design, luxurious finish, and the ample space it offers.
