Riva
Experience the epitome of iconic and classically Italian powerboats with Riva, a legendary luxury brand that is now part of the esteemed Ferretti Group. Despite its association, Riva maintains a distinctive style, character, and set of values, paying homage to its original ideals in every yacht for sale.
Riva's illustrious heritage traces back nearly two centuries when Pietro Riva, a young master shipwright, established a shipyard on Lake Iseo in 1842. The brand gained international acclaim with significant victories in early 20th-century powerboat racing and reached its zenith in the 1950s and 60s. During this golden era, Riva's impeccably engineered wooden speedboats became iconic symbols, synonymous with movie stars, aristocracy, and the essence of 'la dolce vita.' Even today, these boats command a significant value.
In 1969, Riva transitioned to building glassfiber boats, and after a period of non-Italian ownership, it joined the Ferretti Group in 2000. Riva currently operates from two shipyards: its historic headquarters in Sarnico on Lake Iseo and a modern production center in La Spezia on the Ligurian coast. The diverse output includes 14 models across four ranges, ranging from classic 8m (27ft) open launches to 50-meter superyachts, encompassing sportfly and flybridge series.
Whether opting for a classic or contemporary model from Riva's extensive range of yachts for sale, you are guaranteed superlative style, build quality, craftsmanship, and finish – a true embodiment of the Riva legacy.
