From The Manufacturer
The Azimut 48’ Fly Bridge. A totally original fusion of contemporary elegance, comfort and freedom – designed by Stefano Righini.
This model, developed and constructed in the Azimut shipyards in Avigliana is the latest stylistic development from Stefano Righini for the Azimut Fly Bridge range, with its characteristic superstructure windows, the skilful harmony of its dimensions and muscles and the overall dynamism that gives the impression of movement even when still.
The same elegance characterises the interior, where Carlo Galeazzi has developed a formal linear and modern architectural style with sophisticated details and high quality materials.
The generous volume of the hull and the innovative layout inside – unheard of on a craft in this category - guarantees guests aboard the 48’ an unrivalled level of comfort that is not just limited to the living space.
On board the 48’ comfort means freedom: a cascade of light below decks allows the owner and guests direct contact with the sea and sky thanks to the more than ample windows throughout the boat.
The ample fly bridge that extends aft and completely shelters the cockpit accommodates – amongst other things – a helm with a complete range of instruments, a large seating area that extends from aft to fore, an ingenious table enriched with elements in teak that incorporates a refrigerator, a barbecue and a drawer for cooking utensils.
The sofa in the cockpit conceals the stairway leading down to the crew cabin that can alternatively be used as a large storage area for various accessories including a washer/dryer.
The foredeck, accommodating a comfortable sunbathing area, is wide and squared off to increase the size of the master cabin.
The characteristic trapezoidal windows amidships provide plenty of light in both guest cabins as well as giving the Azimut 48 a particularly distinctive look.
