From The Manufacturer
In the 24 meters of the new Settantotto we can see the splendor and the precious care in the details. Cranchi Settantotto offers an idea of beauty that is both contemporary and classic, without surrendering to minimalism with fluid lines and without marked edges and a natural sense of balance. In the design choices of Christian Grande ‐ engaged in a close collaboration with the Cranchi Research Development Department ‐ there is nothing excessive, forced or aggressive. Yet the strength expected from a flagship shines through, in the frictionless forms of the Settantotto one reads the sturdiness of a yacht that can face the sea in all conditions, with its perfect hull, the high and flared bow, the pronounced hawk band head.
"The profile of the Settantotto captures the eye thanks to a game of cross‐references between volumes, lines and stylistic signs ‐ underlines Christian Grande ‐ The suspension elements of the flybridge and hardtop are an echo to the power and in the same way the thrust towards the bow reverberate in parallel lines in the stern area giving the yacht a sporty personality accentuated by symmetrical aft stance. The closing details of the hardtop have thinner lines and curved shapes and even these find a reference in the flybridge lines."
Flowing and sinuous lines, behind which large rooms and generous volumes are revealed, perfectly illuminated by natural light as suggested by the symmetrical subtractions in the hull that can be read at the level of the main and lower deck.
