Get a firsthand perspective of the Cranchi Settantotto with this video review courtesy of vlogger Aquaholic filmed at Boot Düsseldorf 2020 in Düsseldorf, Germany, this tour has been designed to give you comprehensive insight into this 25.15m flybridge from the cabin configuration through to the outdoor areas.
Video Tour
On Deck
One of the features highlighted is the garage, which is unusually large for a 78-foot flybridge boat, capable of housing a Williams 385 and a jetski simultaneously. There is also a wonderful beach club set up with a rainfall shower.
Whilst on deck, the high bulwarks give a secure feeling. The capacious bow area is complete with fusion hi-fi controls and a wireless phone charging port and anchor handling kit.
The yacht has a vast flybridge, giving plenty of open space, a hardtop roof, seating area, and bar. There are fantastic views from the upper helm with dual screens.
Interior
The saloon area has comfortable cushions in the seating area and Italian styling. The dining area can accommodate eight people, and the adjacent crew area is shown, which includes the galley and a small relaxation spot. Nick seems particularly impressed with the helm's wooden wheel, glass screens, and controls for various boat features.
He then tours the lower deck, noting its four-cabin layout and ample storage space. The owner's cabin features high ceilings, whole windows, walk-in wardrobe, seperate dressing area and illuminated rainfall shower. He also tours the VIP cabin, guest cabins, and en-suite bathrooms.
Crew Accommodation
Nick appreciates the yacht's layout, which allows the crew to move around without disturbing guests. The crew area has two separate crew cabins and a separate shower area which is a surprise in a sub-80-foot boat. Nick also notes the control panel, which allows the crew to manage the boat's features whilst off the bridge. It is noted that the galley area can be kept completely seperate from the guests.
Performance
The engine room with its triple Volvo Penta IPS-1350 engines, can propel the yacht at a top speed of 28 knots. The boat has a range of 400 miles at fast planing speeds.
In Summary
Overall, Nick's tour of the Cranchi Settantotto is filled with admiration, and he seems genuinely impressed by Cranchi's design and execution of their largest yacht to date.
