Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in late 2012. Launched in June 2016 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2016.

Exterior Design

A raked bow is rounded as it meets a functional foredeck with tender stowage and a launching crane for convenience. A short stairway ascends through a central break in the coaming to reach a semi-circular seating area in front of a straight edge bank of large windows before walkways divide to flank the upper deck. Further tender and personal watercraft stowage is located on the sun deck aft with a crane to facilitate launching. There is guest space available here, with a selection of sun loungers, however, it's the forward section of the sun deck that provides a wealth of guest amenities.

The layout includes a full-height bar and BBQ kitchen on the starboard side, with backlit crystal agate and mirrored glass counter, where guests sit in comfort on stylish Italian-designed walnut and white leather bar stools. A large jacuzzi pool is elevated within a smart teak surround with integrated sun pads. Shade is provided over the amidships section of the sun deck, where the canopy for the radar mast is in place, to provide welcome shade over the smart navy blue and white U-shaped sofa.

Access to the waterline is internal, with stairways revealed when transom doors open to a beach club area.  The stern itself is angled and protected with high coaming on either side. The light grey hull features horizontal oval portholes, and gunwales are occasionally open to break the line of the topsides. Where the main deck walkway enters the interior space, large vertical oval portholes are featured to welcome natural light into the salon areas and lobby areas of the yacht.

The upper deck features large sections of vertical glazing within the bulwarks and wide, protected walkways provide easy access. Stairways between deck levels are in place on the yacht's starboard side. The teak deck is inlaid with white to prominently display the lines, and create a flowing aesthetic.

Chasseur, a minimalist contemporary yacht, features natural materials, designer furnishings, advanced lighting, and a curated art collection, embodying timeless style and appeal.

Interior Design

Chasseur's interiors are characterized by a light, sleek, and clean design, fostering a relaxed transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. High gloss ceiling panels reflect the surrounding water, enhancing the connection to the exterior environment. The design emphasizes clean lines and geometric shapes, combining milk-glazed sycamore with matte-finished teak and holly for a harmonious contrast. Santos rosewood is used for salon cabinetry, while ebonised oak is chosen for the cabins, incorporating natural materials like shagreen, woven leather, and capiz shell for added texture and visual interest.

Textured carpets provide a subtle foundation for the salon furniture, which prioritizes tactile comfort alongside its plain color scheme. Guest bathrooms feature luxurious onyx cladding, enhancing the overall sense of opulence. A floating tread circular staircase grants access to all decks, adding a touch of retro elegance to the design with select furniture pieces.

Chasseur offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
