Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.51m beam and a 2.44m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 462 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 1996. She was delivered to her owners in June 2001.

Accommodation

Popeye offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000 M90) 16-cylinder 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Popeye is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 54,545 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,350 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Popeye also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.

A true entertainer, she includes a full bar adjacent to the BBQ on the sundeck, and huge windows flank her comfortable furnishings in the main salon
