The 50m motor yacht Daisy D was delivered to her owners in 2018 by Dutch shipyard Heesen. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Cristiano Gatto Design, while her exteriors have been penned by Omega Architects.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.51m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2016 with the keel laid under the project name 'Ayla'. This was the seventh yacht built in the series. Launched in February 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2018.

Accommodation

Daisy D offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M73L) 16-cylinder 3,862hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Daisy D is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 68,800 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,100 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
