Delivered in 2014, Wingman is a 220'6" motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Damen Yachting. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Damen Yachting's in-house design team.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and a steel / aluminium superstructure she features a 36'9" beam and a 13'1" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,143 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
This was the sixty-seventh yacht built on the YS 6711 design. Launched in November 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in January 2014.
Exterior Design

Interior Design
Wingman's interior design, crafted with precision and functionality in mind, reflects the professional nature of its operation. The utilitarian approach is evident through the use of robust materials and a layout that prioritizes efficiency and comfort for the crew.
The bridge lounge offers a panoramic 180° view, an essential feature for operational oversight, yet also provides a space of retreat with bespoke furniture and an exclusive European oak cabinet. The choice of wood adds a touch of warmth to the otherwise high-tech environment.
In the dive center, teak paneling complements the professional setup, which includes a bespoke briefing table and stools, catering to both the functional and aesthetic needs of the diving enthusiasts onboard. The decompression chamber, a critical piece of safety equipment, is integrated seamlessly into the space, ensuring that practicality does not compromise the interior's overall coherence.
The crew's communal areas, such as the lounge and mess, are designed to foster a sense of camaraderie and relaxation. Mark Berryman's design expertise is evident in these spaces, which blend comfort and style, allowing the crew to unwind effectively. The galley, equipped with contemporary professional-grade appliances. The crew also benefit from a well-equipped gym.

Accommodation
The support vessel Wingman provides exceptional accommodation to meet the needs of its crew while serving the primary superyacht Launchpad. Designed and engineered by Damen Yachting, Wingman ensures that the crew is housed in comfort, facilitating their ability to provide unwavering support and security.
Wingman offers a total of 13 en-suite cabins for crew members, designed to maximize space and comfort. On the First Deck fore, there are five en-suite cabins, which can accommodate eight crew members. This includes a single Captain's cabin, a single Chief Officer cabin, and three double cabins for pairs such as the Second Officer and ETO, Stewardess, and Bosun and Dive Tech.
The Main Deck fore houses an additional eight en-suite cabins with the capacity to accommodate 14 crew members. The layout includes a Pilot cabin, a Chief Engineer Cabin, a Purser cabin, four double cabins assigned to pairs such as the Stewardess and Medic, Second Engineer and Tender Engineer, Sub Pilot and Aero Engineer, Deck hand and Security, plus one triple cabin for three Deckhands.
Each cabin is equipped with en-suite facilities and designed to provide privacy and relaxation for the crew.
Performance & Capabilities
Wingman is powered by four MTU 16V 4000 M63L diesel engines. Each engine delivers a substantial 2240kW, equivalent to 3046 horsepower, and operates at a steady 1800rpm. Together, they drive the yacht to a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and enable it to reach a maximum speed of 21 knots.
In terms of range, Wingman is designed for extensive voyages, offering an impressive 8,720 nautical miles at cruising speed with a 20% fuel reserve. This long-range capability ensures that the yacht can undertake lengthy expeditions without the need for frequent refueling stops.
For onboard energy requirements, Wingman is equipped with three Cat C9 generators, each producing 200kW, complemented by an auxiliary Cat C4.4 TA generator delivering an extra 89.6kW when needed. This setup guarantees that all onboard systems have a reliable power supply, regardless of the operating conditions.
Stability is a critical factor for any support vessel, and Wingman is outfitted with state-of-the-art Quantum zero speed stabilizers. The model QCHUL18000-IF05 at the aft and QCFIN22021-AA00 forward ensure the yacht maintains equilibrium, providing comfort and safety for guests and crew alike, whether the vessel is underway or stationary.
Maneuverability is enhanced by two Veth 150kW bow thrusters of the VT-240 type, which offer precise handling and positioning. This feature is especially beneficial when navigating through tight spots or during complex support operations.
The yacht's lifting capabilities come from a Heila HLRM 140-5s knuckle telescopic crane, which is fully rotational and can manage loads of up to 21 metric tons. This feature is essential for deploying and retrieving the diverse array of tenders and water sports equipment that Wingman carries.
