  • Sun deck with spa pool
  • Four-deck lift for easy access
  • Master suite with sea balcony
  • Tender garage

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.5m beam and a 3.5m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 630 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Emelina features a raked bow that enhances its navigation capabilities and contributes to a sleek profile. The deck is crafted from durable teak, offering both aesthetic appeal and functionality. The hull and superstructure are both painted a clean white, creating a cohesive and polished look. Contrasting this, the boot top and below the waterline are finished in black, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.

The sun deck features seating and a large spa pool. The extended hardtop provides more shaded areas, and large lockers were installed to store exercise equipment. These features cater to both relaxation and fitness needs.

The tender garage was redesigned to create a large open space inside the hinged transom door, with an overhead crane for launching and retrieving tenders. This garage does not compromise engine room space, which remains well laid out for easy access to the main engines.

Interior Design

The interior design of Emelina incorporates a range of high-quality materials and thoughtful amenities to enhance the onboard experience. Upon entering through the main deck's sliding doors, the space immediately feels open and inviting. The main deck is divided into three parts: the veranda, a square art foyer, and the main saloon. Rich, varnished flame mahogany paneling and honey onyx stonework bordered by green onyx tie these elements together.

The main saloon foyer features sculptures of Commedia dell'Arte characters Arlecchino and Pulcinella, sourced from Northgate Galleries in Tennessee. The walls are adorned with colorful paintings by Nicola Simbari, discovered in Italy and acquired from Wally Findlay Galleries in Palm Beach, Florida. Additionally, there are gold-leafed paintings by Arianna Caroli.

One of Emelina's standout features is the three-storey trompe l'oeil backdrop to the staircase, painted by a local artist to imitate the paneling of an ancient Italian palazzo. This piece includes frescoes depicting mythological images in the classical grottesca tradition. Overhead panels in various rooms are finished in Venetian plaster, a process requiring the application of numerous thin layers with a spatula, resulting in a look that gives an impression of depth to the deckhead.

The bridge deck lounge is another area of interest. The owners expanded this space to include a dining rotunda enclosed by curved glass doors that fully retract for alfresco meals. The lounge floor features an inlaid onyx pattern, with green onyx bordered by honey onyx, which is a reverse of the pattern on the main deck.  At the center of the rotunda is a flame mahogany capstan table. This table is electrically driven and can expand from 178 to 228 centimeters in diameter at the flick of a switch, forming an intricate star pattern at its heart.

A large service galley off the bridge deck lounge aids the crew in providing swift service to the dining area, equipped with a coffee machine, wine refrigerator, dishwasher, and a food lift descending to the lower galley.

Accommodation

The master suite is situated on the main deck and includes a private office that opens onto a starboard-side sea balcony. This balcony offers a unique vantage point and can be easily set up with deck chairs for a serene sunset experience. The suite also includes an expansive full-beam bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed facing a mirror that conceals a television. The bathroom is a standout feature, lined with honey onyx and equipped with a central onyx bathtub, steam shower, and a mother-of-pearl mosaic wall.

A notable feature of the suite is the 'sea balcony'. This balcony is hydraulically operated and blends into the room's design when not in use. The master suite also includes an additional space that can serve as a massage room or extra accommodation, further enhancing the yacht's versatility.

On the lower deck, Emelina offers four guest cabins. Aft are two mirror-image double cabins, each featuring an en suite bathroom adorned with exquisite pink onyx. Forward are two twin cabins, each with a pullman berth, increasing the yacht's guest capacity. These cabins are designed with child safety in mind, featuring special net enclosures for the pullmans.

The crew quarters are lined with oak paneling and finished to a high standard. Although the double-bunked cabins are somewhat narrow, the public areas, such as the crew mess, are spacious and can seat the entire crew. The crew quarters also include a well-sized walk-in refrigerator, freezer, and laundry facilities. Access to the guest cabins from the crew quarters is indirect but functional, including a concealed hatch for discreet service.
