Design & Construction

Designed around a planing composite hull and superstructure she features a 6.94m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 199 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the second yacht built on the MCY 96 design.

Exterior Design

The flybridge includes a galley area, a helm position, a lounge area, a hot tub, and a dining area. A sliding roof section allows for adjustable shade. The decks offer multiple access points, drop-down balconies, and a variety of seating options. The aft cockpit features a large table and an overhang that provides ample shade.

The forward area is equipped with a sunbathing section and additional seating. The yacht also includes a tender garage and a lift platform for ease of access to the water. The exterior is designed for functionality, with teak-faced bulwarks that can drop down to form balconies, enhancing the usability of the space.

The hull is cream-colored, complemented by a white superstructure. The boot top and below the waterline areas are painted black, providing a sharp contrast to the lighter colors above. The deck is made of teak, adding a touch of natural material that is practical and hard-wearing.

Interior Design

The interior design of Esmeralda of the Seas is practical and welcoming, featuring light colors and large windows that ensure plenty of natural light and ventilation throughout the yacht. The main salon creates a casual atmosphere, enhanced by the choice of materials and layout. Storage solutions are integrated into the design, with a wine cooler and storage along one side, and an ice maker and fridge on the opposite side. A television that rises up adds to the entertainment options available in the salon.

The dining area is situated ahead of the main salon and features sliding doors on both sides, allowing easy access to the exterior and providing additional ventilation. Teak-faced bulwarks can drop down to create a balcony, adding functionality to the space.

The galley is well-equipped for all culinary needs, featuring advanced appliances and ample storage. It includes laundry facilities, fridges, freezers, a dishwasher, and a well-appointed cooking area.

The helm is the operational center of the yacht, outfitted with screens for ship systems and navigation. Controls for thrusters and engines are readily accessible, ensuring smooth operation. The ship's wheel is a key feature, providing the captain with complete control.

Accommodation

Esmeralda of the Seas can host a total of ten guests across its well-appointed cabins. Situated on the main deck, the owner's suite features expansive windows and glass panels that provide ample natural light and panoramic views. The suite includes a dressing area, a walk-in wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower and a toilet.

On the lower deck, there are two VIP cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Additionally, there are two cabins with single beds that can be converted into doubles, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. One of these cabins includes a pullman bed, increasing the total guest capacity.

There are three cabins designated for the crew, including a captain's cabin with an ensuite bathroom. The crew quarters also feature laundry facilities, fridges, freezers, a dishwasher, and a galley to ensure smooth operations.
