Exterior Design

Hodor presents a formidable and striking figure, its stealth grey paintwork accented with a dynamic orange stripe, giving it a commanding presence on the water. This visual identity not only sets it apart aesthetically but also hints at its purpose-driven design as the ultimate support vessel. The exterior of Hodor is finished to immaculate standards, reflecting the luxurious nature of the lifestyle it supports.

The robust silhouette of the vessel is reminiscent of a naval warship, yet with a contemporary twist that makes it unmistakable for anything other than a cutting-edge luxury shadow catamaran. The integration of the Airbus H145 helicopter atop the helipad further amplifies its imposing stature and utility, while the fleet of color-coordinated tenders, visible upon the upper deck, showcases the vessel's impressive capacity for adventure and recreation.

Designed by Australian naval architect Incat Crowther, known for their high-speed catamaran ferries, Hodor is a testament to innovative marine engineering. Its all-aluminium construction is based on a stretched 55-metre fast ferry platform, which has been elongated by 11 metres to accommodate an extensive collection of water toys and equipment.

The vessel's dual-hull configuration not only enhances stability but also maximizes the load areas and storage spaces. This design allows for the seamless storage, maintenance, launch, and recovery of the superyacht's auxiliary crafts and toys. The intelligent use of space is evident in the inclusion of the hydraulic lift nestled between the hulls, which facilitates the effortless launch of the largest tenders, including the impressive 17-metre Nor-Tech 560 Sport centre console.

Onboard, a selection of high-powered watercraft, including a Hydra-Sports 53 centre console sports boat, a Ski Nautique, and a 388 Skater race boat, is strategically positioned for quick deployment, ensuring that guests are mere moments away from their next exhilarating maritime adventure. The deck layout has been meticulously planned to ensure each piece of equipment is easily accessible, while also maintaining the yacht’s sleek and uncluttered profile.

As Hodor continues to serve as a floating toy box for its illustrious mothership, its interiors stand as an embodiment of the luxury and attention to detail that define the ultimate yachting experience.

Interior Design

The interior of Hodor reflects a sophisticated blend of functionality and luxury, a testament to the meticulous work of Oliver Design. The Spanish firm, founded by naval engineer Jaime Oliver, is renowned for its ability to craft spaces that are both elegant and practical, an expertise clearly evident within the confines of this extraordinary shadow yacht.

Guests stepping aboard Hodor are welcomed into a lounge that, despite its modest size, exudes opulence. Directly accessible from the tender dock, this space offers a haven of comfort and style. The furnishings are of the highest quality, selected not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their durability and comfort, ensuring that even brief stays in the lounge are memorable experiences. A fully stocked bar beckons, offering refreshments and libations, while a state-of-the-art plasma television provides entertainment for those moments of relaxation between adventures.

The interior design is further accentuated by the intricate laser-cut Corian panels that line the walls. These panels, adorned with a captivating Moorish design, serve as a focal point, adding texture and depth to the space. The attention to detail in the fretwork is a clear indication of Oliver Design's commitment to creating an atmosphere that is both unique and inviting.

For the crew, who are integral to the daily operations and success of the Hodor experience, the accommodations are exceptionally comfortable. The catamaran's design affords ample space, allowing for light-filled, open-plan communal areas that promote a sense of camaraderie and well-being. The crew cabins are notably generous, featuring full-sized bathrooms that offer a level of comfort seldom found on vessels of this nature. This focus on crew welfare is a reflection of the owner's philosophy; input from those who live and work on Hodor was sought to ensure that the final design would be as functional as it is luxurious.

Accommodation

Crew accommodation for up to 17 on Hodor is notably generous, reflecting the yacht's commitment to the well-being and comfort of those who operate and maintain her. The crew quarters are designed to offer a light-filled, open-plan communal area and private cabins, complete with full-sized bathrooms. This thoughtful design is the result of direct input from the crew to create an onboard living environment that is both comfortable and efficient, highlighting the importance of a content and well-rested crew in ensuring the seamless operation of the yacht.

Accommodating the needs and comfort of crew aboard Hodor, the bathrooms are designed to be both spacious and sophisticated, offering a luxurious space for crew to unwind in privacy. Each bathroom is fitted with high-quality fixtures and finishes, ensuring that the crew's needs are catered to with the utmost care.

Performance & Capabilities

Hodor is powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M73L SCR engines, a propulsion system that offers both power and efficiency. She is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 160,000-litre fuel tanks, she has a maximum range of 5,500 nautical miles at 14 knots, ensuring that Hodor can accompany its mothership on extensive voyages without the need for frequent refueling stops.

Stability is a hallmark of Hodor's design, as evidenced by its dual-hull configuration. The catamaran structure inherently provides a stable platform, which is essential for the safe and efficient deployment of the vessel's tenders and toys.

Hodor's mechanical prowess extends to its launch and recovery systems. The vessel is equipped with a hydraulic lift capable of handling the weight and complexity of a 17-meter Nor-Tech 560 Sport center console, among other equipment. This feature, along with other sophisticated mechanisms such as beam cranes and air casters for the submersible garage, exemplify Hodor's advanced mechanical infrastructure.

The exterior design of Hodor is not just about aesthetics and functionality; it also ensures the safety and ease of operations for both the crew and the guests. This synergy between form and function encapsulates the essence of a vessel designed to enhance the superyacht experience, without compromising on style or capability.
