Delivered in 2008, Inception is a 31.39m motor yacht built by Taiwanese shipyard Johnson Yachts. Her interior and exterior has been penned in-house by the Johnson Yachts design team.

Design & Construction
Designed around a modified v-hull GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.2m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 170 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Inception is straightforward and functional. The deck is constructed from teak, offering durability and a traditional aesthetic. The hull and superstructure are both finished in white, creating a clean and uniform appearance. A black boot top and antifoul color provide contrast and practicality. The hull finish is gelcoat, contributing to its smooth and polished look.
The flybridge is a key highlight, designed with ample seating areas and a recently fabricated stainless steel bimini top. This area includes two settees, a large table, a Kenyon electric cooktop grill, a freshwater sink, and additional storage. The helm station on the flybridge has been updated with a new electronics package, switches, and a new dash cover. It offers panoramic views and access to fresh air, enhancing the navigation experience.
A 14-foot Nautica rib tender is stowed on the aft deck of the main flybridge. The tender has been upgraded with new tubes, cushions, seadeck, engine servicing, and new electronics. The davit system for the tender is efficient, allowing for quick deployment and retrieval.
The main deck features a Dutch door providing access to the aft deck, which has been designed for both climate control and guest entertainment. Stainless steel staples are bedded into the aluminum superstructure, separating the aft mezzanine deck from the lower swim platform. The swim platform includes a hot and cold shower, power cable supply, and dockside water hookup.
Interior Design
Starting with the main salon, the flooring is covered in new carpeting for a fresh and clean look. The L-shaped sofa has been reupholstered with a durable material, ensuring both comfort and longevity. LED lighting is installed in the headliners and valances, providing ample illumination while being energy-efficient.
The galley is equipped with all the necessities for convenient meal preparation. It includes a cooktop stove, oven, dishwasher, trash compactor, refrigerator, freezer, and a microwave convection oven. The layout is designed to offer easy access to all appliances, making the kitchen area highly functional. The adjacent formal dinette is situated on a raised platform, offering panoramic window views, which enhances the dining experience.
The helm area has been updated with new electronics, switches, and a complete new dash cover. The layout of the helm provides the captain with an excellent panoramic view, enhancing navigation and safety. Modern technology ensures that all necessary information is readily available at a glance.
Accommodation
Inception accommodates up to 12 guests in six well-appointed cabins. The master suite is located on the main deck and spans the full beam of the yacht. It features a king-sized bed, a private office space, and large windows that provide natural light and panoramic views. The suite includes a spacious en-suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub, separate shower, and dual washbasins. Walk-in wardrobes offer ample storage space.
In addition to the master suite, Inception includes five guest cabins located on the lower deck. The guest accommodation includes two VIP suites, two twin cabins, and a convertible cabin that can be configured as either a twin or a double. All cabins have their own en-suite bathrooms.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000 M91) 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Inception is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 19 knots. With her 15,068 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Inception also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
