Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.53m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 442 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2006. Launched in March 2009 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in October 2009.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the Ocean Club features clean lines and symmetrical styling, which are evident across each deck, with recurring curves lending a coherent visual theme. The yacht's all-aluminum construction ensures a light yet robust build, suitable for long-range cruising and efficiency at 17 knots, a cruising speed that allows for extended voyages with confidence.

On the sundeck, guests can indulge in relaxation or entertainment with amenities such as a well-appointed bar that serves cool drinks and a Jacuzzi for unwinding under the sun. The 22-inch outdoor cinema screen adds a touch of sophistication to evenings spent on the deck. A dining table nearby facilitates al fresco meals with convenience and ease.

The yacht's exterior layout has been thoughtfully planned to maximize the use of all outdoor spaces. Tenders and water toys are stored on the main deck aft, which enhances stability and ride comfort while also allowing guests to enjoy the upper deck without disruption during launch and recovery operations.

Ocean Club's exterior design also includes a 1,000-square-foot floating dock marina, which forms part of the beach club. This innovative feature is not only a hub for water activities, with an array of toys like Jet Skis and sea bobs, but also serves as a unique gathering point for guests to enjoy the water at sea level.

The foredeck is surrounded by a sturdy and handsome teak handrail, and a catwalk across the top of the owner's suite links the bridge with the foredeck, providing both a functional passageway and a vantage point for views.

Interior Design

The recent refurbishment of Ocean Club introduces a refreshed interior that balances contemporary styling with touches of retro Hollywood glamour. The design, orchestrated by Patrick Knowles, adheres to a palette of soft blues and steel greys, complemented by the natural warmth of hardwoods. The use of open-pore wood surfaces and tumbled marble as styling cues reinforces the overall aesthetic. Padded wall panels of leather and beveled wood panels invite touch.

In the main saloon, guests are greeted by an aft entry reception featuring a bar and comfortable sofas. Handmade pure wool carpet in hues of silver grey, steel blue, and mocha sets a refined tone, while antiqued mirrors amplify the sense of space. A significant feature here is the temperature-controlled wine cellar, capable of housing 200 bottles, which serves as a striking visual divider between the dining area and the main foyer.

The dining area within the main saloon is configured for formal dining, with a layout that encourages conviviality and conversation. Adjacent to this space, the sky lounge offers another dimension to the onboard experience. It features large windows for panoramic views and includes a sophisticated cocktail bar, further reflecting the vessel's capacity for entertainment.

Accommodation

Ocean Club is equipped to cater to ten guests within its five ensuite staterooms, ensuring privacy and comfort for all aboard.

The centerpiece of Ocean Club's accommodation is the two-level master suite situated on the main deck. This full-width cabin is noteworthy for its scale and design, featuring a king-size bed on the lower level and a private lounge area above, boasting a 280-degree sweep of curved windows for exceptional views. The master suite includes separate his and hers bathrooms, offering a level of convenience and luxury that is expected within the charter market.

Additional guest quarters consist of four well-appointed staterooms, allowing for a flexible arrangement suitable for diverse group compositions. Three of these staterooms offer king-size beds, while the fourth contains twin beds. Two of the staterooms are equipped with extra folding Pullman berths, ensuring that the yacht can comfortably accommodate ten guests in total.

As for the crew, Ocean Club is staffed with a team of ten to ensure impeccable service and attention to detail.
