Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13.2m beam and a 3.4m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 2,165 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2021 with the keel laid under the project name 'Andromeda'. Launched in May 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2023.

Exterior Design

Malia showcases a sleek profile characterized by longitudinal windows and a tri-deck axe bow design. The superyacht's robust, muscular lines contribute to a striking exterior, further accentuated by trapezium-shaped windows.

The upper deck includes windbreakers, inspired by sports cars, and a skylight that illuminates the pool below. The veranda deck is a versatile space with an outdoor cinema, sun shades, and the capability to transform into a party area. It is air-conditioned and maintains a flush deck design for seamless transition between spaces. The forward part of the veranda deck features a standing pool with a window that lights the staircase below, along with sunbeds and glass-made bulwarks for clear views.

Interior Design

The main and dining salons are defined by a central concentration of furnishings, elegantly framed by a large area rug on a hardwood floor. This arrangement pays homage to the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing uninterrupted views of the surroundings. Mirrors placed on the mullions further enhance this visual connection to the exterior, effectively blurring the lines between inside and out. One of the many standout features is a striking Lasvit glass chandelier, while an extensive collection of modern art enhances the ambiance throughout.

Lighting within the yacht is an integral component, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and functionality. LED lighting is discreetly incorporated into the design, nestled within the spaces between the undulating wooden slats overhead. This subtle yet effective use of lighting creates ambiance while highlighting the yacht's architectural features.

The helm of Malia is equipped with advanced navigation and control systems from Radio Zeeland, offering real-time insights into the yacht's vital systems. This technology underscores the commitment to safety and precise maneuvering capabilities.

Accommodation

Malia is a yacht designed to provide luxury yacht charter and offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across eight suites.

The full-beam owner's suite on the main deck is a sleek retreat, featuring a dedicated vanity area, a private office, a spacious king-sized bed, and marble-adorned surfaces. Contemporary bronze lamps frame the bed, while a modern wall hanging enhances the sophisticated aesthetic.

The two VIP staterooms and one twin stateroom are situated on the main deck. Each cabin is equipped with an ensuite, and the interior styling is rich-toned plush furnishings and carefully crafted wall art.

A further two VIP suites, one double, and one twin stateroom, are to be found on the lower deck.
