Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.5m beam and a 2.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 928 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2008 with the keel laid under the project name 'Jana'. This was the second yacht built on the Custom design. Launched in January 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2012.
Exterior Design
Upon launch, the Luca Dini designed yacht was recognized as a finalist in The World Superyacht Awards and The ShowBoats Design Awards in 2013, gaining recognition in categories of Best Displacement Motor Yacht, Exterior Design & Styling Award, Environmental Protection Award, and the Holistic Design Award. The yacht carries sleek lines, a raked bow, and shell-style deck linings before a vertical mast on a gently arched bridge deck. A curve of the light grey hull just forward of amidships rises up to continue the line of the main deck forward creating interest within the side profile.
On the upper deck forward, ample guest space has been created with an elevated jacuzzi forward, with surround sun pads reached via a curved stepway. A wet bar with comfortable cocktail bar stools and low slung sofas and chairs complete the every facility required for a guest to enjoy this high vantage point. Moving aft from this zone, through to dining where the canopy of the mast and communication tower arch will cast some welcome shade, with the option of extending a canvas sun shield if required, then aft to a large u-shaped seating area. This upper deck is open and offers stunning panoramic views around.
The main deck aft relaxation zone features guest seating, occasional chairs, and versatile tables, with a dining area under the canopy created by the upper deck, supported by two steel columns. A stairway to reach the upper deck is provided on the starboard side. The foredeck is a storage and utilitarian space for tender storage and launching, in addition to mooring and anchoring service.
The bathing platform is created when the transom door lowers and guests can enjoy waterside access. This area is accessed through internal staircases rather than taking up deck space with external stairways. Side balconies fold out to create further private guest space over the water.
Interior Design
The interior of the yacht exudes warmth and comfort, inviting guests into a haven of relaxation. Deep sofas and patterned rugs complement cream carpets, while soft lighting accentuates the ambiance. Wood and leather-paneled walls add a touch of sophistication, with textures carefully chosen to enhance the luxurious feel.
Intriguing details, including copper accents, captivate the eye and serve as focal points in deliberately spacious rooms. A striking black dining table, adorned with marble inlays, is accompanied by understated cream chairs, ensuring elegance without distraction. Sculptures strategically placed throughout the yacht add interest.
A stunning staircase, crafted from leather, wood, steel, and glass, commands attention with its modern design. Private relaxation areas feature Nordic-style seating in rich brown leather, providing intimate spaces for guests to unwind. Vibrant splashes of color, through cushions and artwork, infuse the interiors with vitality.
Cabins are meticulously designed for both comfort and style, with deep purple, vibrant green, or mink hues against cream backdrops. Square, minimalist sofas offer a contemporary touch, while abstract artwork adds intrigue without overwhelming the space. Bathrooms exude sophistication, with copper tones, marble finishes, and inset lighting, all wrapped in a soothing cream and brown palette.
