Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 37'9" beam and a 11'6" draft. The yacht is built over 6 decks with an internal volume of 1,401 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2018. Launched in July 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2021.
Exterior Design
The aft deck includes a main seating area and a formal dining space, enclosed by hydraulic doors for privacy and functionality. The seating areas are equipped with fixed tables and potential storage options.
Moving up, the six-meter swimming pool stands out with its waterfall and glass panels that allow light into the beach club below. This design element provides visual connectivity between the pool and the beach club.
The bridge deck presents a more informal setting with a bar, seating areas, and a self-playing baby grand piano. The design includes teak decks and unobtrusive storage solutions. The sun deck offers a jacuzzi and additional areas for relaxation and entertainment. The integration of hidden TVs, projectors, and speakers ensures the availability of entertainment without disrupting the clean lines of the design.
The use of lighting, including LED strip lighting, enhances the overall ambiance, while the choice of materials, such as teak and marble, contributes to the yacht's understated elegance. The design also incorporates safety features, such as airbags in doors that lead to exterior decks, to protect against water ingress.
Interior Design
The main saloon features fixed tables and seating areas designed for relaxation and convenience. These tables likely include built-in storage and possibly charging units for electronic devices. The space is equipped with hydraulic doors that can close off the formal dining area, allowing for a more private and controlled environment for entertaining guests. The dining area itself is designed to facilitate seamless service from the crew, with dedicated staging areas for efficient guest management.
Resilience includes a TV room and a more informal lounge area on the bridge deck. This lounge is equipped with a bar, seating areas, and a self-playing baby grand piano. The design of the lounge prioritizes guest comfort and entertainment. The space also includes integrated AV systems, with hidden speakers and retractable projector screens that can be activated at the touch of a button.
The owner's office is located on the bridge deck, providing a private and functional workspace. The office includes a day head and is designed to offer a quiet and isolated environment for business activities.
The beach club, one of the most impressive areas of the yacht, spans over 180 square meters, complete with a lounge, showers, a sauna, and a massage room. The area is decorated with a frosted Murano glass panel that graces the front of a bar, elaborate lighting, and high-quality natural materials. Light pours in from the clear ceiling, which is the bottom of the swimming pool on the deck above.
Accommodation
Resilience accommodates up to 12 guests in six well-appointed cabins. The lower deck features four guest cabins, each equipped with modern amenities including LED lighting, flat-screen TVs, and en-suite bathrooms with high-quality marble finishes and large rainforest showers. Each cabin is designed with convenience and comfort in mind, offering ample storage space and sophisticated decor. Each cabin is connected to the upper deck by a stunning Preciosa jellyfish sculpture, housed within a spiral staircase.
The master suite, located on the main deck, spans the full beam of the yacht, ensuring maximum space and privacy. This suite features a king-size bed positioned to face forward, reducing the likelihood of seasickness. The suite includes two private balconies. The master suite also boasts dual en-suite bathrooms; one with a luxurious bathtub and the other with a spacious shower, both adorned with top-tier fittings and finishes.
An additional guest cabin is situated near the bridge on the bridge deck, providing a unique and convenient location for those who prefer proximity to the yacht's command center. This cabin also includes a private en-suite bathroom.
The Captain's cabin is located behind the bridge, providing easy access to the wheelhouse and other operational areas of the yacht. An additional crew rest area is strategically positioned in front of the wheelhouse, offering off-duty crew a place to relax and enjoy the journey without interfering with the guests' experience.
Resilience offers accommodation for up to 15 crew members on the lower deck. The crew area features an open-plan design, a decision influenced by the crew's own input to ensure maximum comfort and efficiency.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M63) 12-cylinder 2,039hp engines running at 1800rpm, she is capable of a top speed of 17 knots and comfortably cruises at 11 knots, with a maximum range of 5,500 nautical miles at her cruising speed. This impressive range is achieved from her 150,000-litre fuel tanks, allowing for long-distance cruising without frequent refuelling stops.
Her performance is further enhanced by her advanced stabilization system. Equipped with 'at anchor stabilisers', the Resilience ensures a smooth and comfortable cruise by reducing roll motion effect, resulting in a smoother and more enjoyable cruising experience. These stabilisers work even while at anchor, providing a steadier and more serene on-board experience.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a beach club allows for easy access to the water and allows those on board to easily unwind. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
