Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.55m beam and a 1.83m draft.

This was the fifth yacht built in the series.

Exterior Design

Safari has a well-sized swim platform equipped with thick, solid staples, ensuring safety and stability for swimmers. The entrance to the engine room and crew area is conveniently located here, along with the shore power inlet and a staircase leading to the cockpit.

The cockpit itself is spacious and can comfortably accommodate dining for eight people, even with oversized chairs. A significant upgrade includes the extension of the hardtop, which now covers this area, providing ample shade and protection from the elements. The hardtop also adds a modern touch to the yacht's overall look.

Moving forward, the walkways are designed for safety with comfortable overhangs and large windows that provide excellent visibility from the interior. The bow area is practical, featuring a large stainless steel anchor and ample storage space.

The extension of the flybridge has created a larger, more versatile space, complete with foldable furniture, a 1750-pound crane, and storage for kayaks and paddleboards. The area also includes a custom-built outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, a fridge, a freezer, and ample storage, making it suitable for outdoor dining and entertainment.

Interior Design

The galley is a fully open space integrated with the salon, allowing for seamless interaction between cooking and social areas. It features a large refrigerator, a five-burner cooktop, and an oven, catering to both casual and gourmet cooking needs. Ample storage is available in the form of drawers and cabinets, including a slide-out pantry. The countertops offer significant workspace, and the large sink is equipped with a garbage disposal.

Safari is equipped with both upper and lower helm stations, each outfitted with modern navigation and control systems. The upper helm, located on the flybridge, includes brand-new helm chairs, upgraded Furuno electronics, MTU engine monitors, and a yacht controller. The lower helm mirrors these features and is designed for ease of access and operation, with all controls and monitors within easy reach. The lower helm's visibility extends through the entire interior to the aft, enhancing operational convenience.

The main salon boasts a freestanding couch and a bar with a pop-up TV, creating a versatile space for social gatherings. The salon's open layout flows into the galley, promoting an inclusive atmosphere. The large windows provide natural light and expansive views.

Adjacent to the salon, the interior helm area offers additional seating and a small table, ideal for casual dining or working. The space is designed to be functional during navigation, ensuring that social activities can continue uninterrupted.

Accommodation

Safari can comfortably accommodate six guests across her various cabins. The layout includes a master cabin, a VIP cabin, and additional guest cabins.

The master cabin is a full-beam suite located midship. It features a king-size bed and abundant storage, including several hanging lockers and drawers. The cabin is complemented by a spacious en-suite bathroom equipped with dual vanities and a large shower area.

Forward, the VIP cabin offers a comfortable queen-size bed, substantial storage, and a walk-in closet. The en-suite bathroom features a single vanity and a sizable shower.

There are additional guest cabins that are designed to maximize comfort and functionality. One of these cabins includes a full-size bed and shares access to a bathroom with the VIP cabin. Another guest cabin is fitted with a twin bed, ideal for single occupancy or for use as a secondary guest room.

The crew area includes a twin cabin and a single cabin, offering separate sleeping quarters. The crew quarters are equipped with their own head and shower facilities, as well as a small kitchenette area.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V2000) 900hp engines, motor yacht Safari is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
