The award winning 203'5" motor yacht Sealion was delivered to her owners in 2009 by Italian shipyard Viareggio SuperYachts. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Espen Oeino, while Candy & Candy has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 36'2" beam and a 10'6" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,056 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2004 with the keel laid under the project name 'Stella Maris'. She was delivered to her owners in July 2009.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Sealion features a clipper bow, which enhances its nautical performance. The deck is crafted from teak, providing durability and a traditional look. Both the hull and superstructure are painted white, creating a clean and cohesive appearance. The yacht's boot top and below-the-spec sections are highlighted in black, adding a distinctive contrast. This straightforward color scheme emphasizes simplicity and elegance.
Sealion features a two-level sundeck which includes several key amenities. At the aft area of the sundeck, there is a rotating sunbed designed for guests to relax and sunbathe. This area is also equipped with mist options to provide cooling in warmer climates. Forward on the same deck, guests can access a lounge space, a 12-person Jacuzzi with Chroma therapy lighting, and a bar.
The skylounge deck is designed to facilitate outdoor dining with its alfresco dining area. The main deck aft offers additional space for guests to spend time outdoors, complementing the yacht’s extensive indoor facilities.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht Sealion, crafted by Candy & Candy London, emphasizes a balance of dark and light tones to create an inviting atmosphere. The primary materials include Macassar ebony and dark stained oak flooring, complemented by silvery-white silk carpet. This combination of materials provides a contrast of warm and cool elements throughout the vessel.
The main salon and dining area offer formal settings with ample seating, designed for both relaxation and social gatherings. The skylounge serves as an entertainment hub, featuring a cinema room for onboard movie experiences.
Additionally, the yacht includes a well-equipped gym on the main deck, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routines while enjoying expansive views through large windows.
Accommodation
Sealion is equipped to accommodate up to 12 guests in a six-stateroom configuration. The master suite, located on the main deck and elevated half a level, features panoramic views and a walk-in dressing area. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with Grigio Carnico marble and includes a spa bath and shower.
The remaining guest accommodations consist of four additional staterooms: two convertible twins and two doubles, ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for various guest needs.
Sealion also provides separate accommodation for up to 14 crew members in seven crew cabins, ensuring a high standard of service and support for all guests on board.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B DITA) 16-cylinder 2,682hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Sealion is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 41,935 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,031 nautical miles at 14 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible. Sealion also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
