Fleming Yachts History & Heritage
Established by Tony Fleming in 1985, Fleming Yachts has since delivered durability and exceptional quality in the yachting industry. His legacy stems from over two decades of experience at the renowned Far Eastern trawler yacht brand, Grand Banks, where he honed ideals centered around traditional design, impeccable craftsmanship, and versatile performance.
Embarking on his solo venture, Fleming introduced the 50ft model initially, followed by the immensely successful 55 in 1986. While a 53 was also in the lineup, it was the 55 that truly catapulted Fleming into prominence. Celebrated as an absolute classic and held in high regard by both owners and the broader industry, the Fleming 55 has been a stalwart in sales for an impressive 35 years. The range has further expanded with the introduction of the 75 in 2000, along with subsequent additions like the 58 and another 75.
In 2005, the Fleming 65 made its debut, garnering notable success. Beyond its excellence as a yacht, the Fleming 65 has an intriguing side story – Tony Fleming's involvement. Taking ownership of hull #1, Fleming has embarked on numerous global cruising adventures, with his yacht VENTURE often exploring the remote regions of North America. Tony's remarkable passages can be followed on the Fleming website, adding a unique and adventurous dimension to the brand's narrative.
