Azimut presents Grande 26 Metri

Joining the popular fleet of Azimut Grande yachts for sale, the new Grande 26 Metri shows off plenty of innovation and the direction for future builds.

Currently the entry-level model in the Grande lineup, the Azimut Grande 26 Metri showcases plenty of superyacht style in a versatile, high-volume 85ft flybridge design.

Officially debuted at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival, the new entry-level Azimut Grande features a five-cabin layout complete with a main deck owner's suite that is completely separated from both guest and crew access points.

In addition to the private owner's area on the main deck, the Azimut model also boasts a huge flybridge for this size of yacht, measuring up to 50m2.

Just over half a meter smaller than the Azimut Grande 27 Metri, there's a striking number of differences between the two very similarly sized flybridge yachts, including one less cabin on the 27 Metri and, what is now pretty much standard on a flybridge, a hydraulic swim platform for launching water toys.

Constantly developing new innovations to tailor towards the changing needs of modern-day Owners, the new Grande 26 Metri has two particular innovations that look to set it apart from many other rivals.

Deck2Deck™ Terrace

A never-before-seen innovation from Azimut, the Deck2Deck™ terrace offers the ultimate flexibility onboard a compact yacht.

Penned in collaboration between Alberto Mancini and Azimut’s in-house team of engineers, the concept is a transom extension system, that essentially converts the teak garage door into an extension for the aft main deck.

This additional space allows the alfresco dining table to be extended so guests can enjoy breakfast with exceptional views.

Low Emission POD 4600 Propulsion System

Developed in partnership with ZF, the new large POD 4600 propulsion system reportedly contributes to the reduction of emissions of up to 20%, when combined with a 30% lighter superstructure, that is largely constructed with carbon fiber.

Making the need for a rudder redundant, thanks to the POD's pivot, Azimut states that the Grande 26 Metri can reach maximum speeds of 28 knots.

Showing an incredible start since joining the Azimut fleet, the first hull of the Grande 26 Metri, FAMIGLIA, has already been delivered and according to YachtBuyer Intelligence, another 21 hulls are on the order books.
