Cantieri di Pisa impressed at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival, showcasing new innovations and future plans. Since 2021, under new ownership by Enrico Gennasio, the shipyard has invested €6 million in expanding its facilities, with an order book approaching €30 million.
The leading European boat show provided a platform to introduce the Akhir line, designed by Antonio Luxardo. Combining the legacy of an iconic motor yacht with cutting-edge features, the Akhir 44 will be the first yacht for sale in the new line. Luxardo’s design captures the essence of the brand while introducing modern enhancements.
The Akhir line has been reimagined with modern features while maintaining key elements that have made it one of the world’s longest-running yacht designs. The sleek deckhouse, iconic shark-bow detailing, and horizontal air intakes remain central to its identity. The Akhir 44 will feature a vacuum-molded carbon fiber hull and EHPH Power Fin technology.

Current projects include the 80 Veloce, a 24m yacht capable of reaching 60 knots, and a 37.5m explorer yacht scheduled for launch in 2026. With a healthy €27 million order book for 2024, Cantieri di Pisa is well-positioned for continued growth.
