Linda Revill

PRO Yachting Journalist

With more than two decades of expertise in maritime training, superyacht operations, and the Mediterranean charter industry, Linda brings a wealth of hands-on experience to YachtBuyer. Additionally, she serves as boat crew at her local RNLI lifeboat station.

Linda earned her Yachtmaster certification in a stormy Solent in 2003 and promptly moved to the blue skies of the Mediterranean. With a primary focus on sailing, Linda accumulated over 20,000 sea miles on yachts ranging from 10m (33ft) to 25m (83ft), including a trans-Atlantic crossing, expanding her expertise to include multihulls and motorboats.

In addition to teaching Yachtmaster, powerboating and personal watercraft, marine radio, and sea survival, Linda founded her own maritime training center, focusing on training captains and crew for the unique challenges of the superyacht industry. Linda has written for several yacht magazines and industry publications.

After relocating to England’s southeast coast, Linda dedicated three years to superyacht management and Mediterranean yacht charter operations before joining the YachtBuyer team. Outside of her work at YachtBuyer, she enjoys the company of her two charmingly naughty Spanish Water Dogs and is boat crew and training coordinator at the local RNLI lifeboat station.
