Damen Yachting has successfully delivered a YS 53 named BAD COMPANY SUPPORT 175, marking a milestone for the sports fishing community.
Designed specifically for sports fisherman Anthony Hsieh, the yacht support vessel will embark on an ambitious ocean-going deep-sea fishing and conservation program with the BAD COMPANY fleet.
The YS 53 impresses with its notable specifications, and length of 53.25m (175ft). Designed to accommodate 8 guests, along with 10 crew members and the captain, its interior and exterior design, as well as naval architecture, are crafted by Damen Yachting.

Tailored for adventure, BAD COMPANY SUPPORT 175 not only serves as a fast support for the BAD COMPANY fleet, but also functions as a main hub for Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Ocean-based activities. The explorer vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and offers a technical and functional base for dedicated programs and long and short-term living onboard.
Neil Emmott, the owner’s representative, highlighted the owner's pivotal role in shaping the vessel, incorporating enhancements such as a game boat, helicopter hangar, custom jacuzzi, and a dedicated strategy meeting room. Additionally, integrating a Starlink antenna enhances connectivity when at sea in faraway locations.
Following its delivery, BAD COMPANY SUPPORT 175 is now ready to venture on its inaugural deep-sea fishing mission to catch black marlin (the fastest fish on the planet) and a conservation program.
