Ferretti unveils restyled 780 Yacht

The 24m (78.7ft) motor yacht features an even sportier look and a family orientated feeling to sit alongside the Ferretti Yachts 500 and Ferretti Yachts 1000.

Ferretti has revealed a change of look and a host of new features for its restyled Ferretti Yachts 780.

The 24m (78.7ft) motor yacht has been reimagined based on the Italian builder's ‘Just Like Home’ concept and to align it with the family feeling of the new fleet introduced by the Ferretti Yachts 500 and Ferretti Yachts 1000.

The restyling has seen the yacht’s sleek and streamlined profile given an even sportier look, with the introduction of extensive glazed surfaces in the hull, and the flybridge given a new layout with a larger central bar area.

The Ideaeitalia designed interiors offer a choice of two decor moods: Classic, with warmer and more traditional colors inspired by the island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples; and Contemporary, a more urban and modern look with cooler colorways inspired by Taormina in Sicily

The guiding principle of the restyle is Ferretti’s award-winning ‘Just Like Home’ concept, which aims to create “a welcoming family atmosphere (which) is always accompanied by an authentically nautical spirit”.

Highlights of the Ferretti Yachts 780 include a large private lounge with a sofa and huge central sunpad, and a dining area on the flybridge sheltered by a hardtop. Inside the lounge is encircled by a large glazed surface and the main deck itself is available in three different configurations.

On the lower deck four cabins offer accommodation for eight guests, including a master stateroom amidships flooded with natural light through its large windows. The three guest cabins are made up of two doubles and a VIP cabin forward.

Propulsion comes from twin 1,400 mhp MAN engines with a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, with the option to upgrade to twin 1,550 mhp engines giving a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.

The first Ferretti Yachts 1000, from which the restyled Ferretti Yachts 780 takes many of its design cues, was delivered in March. The 30.48m (100ft) yacht is the Italian yard’s largest build and first 100% wide-body vessel.
