The first luxury yachts have made their way up the the river Rhine to find their place at the 50th edition of the Boot Dusseldorf show.

Preparing for a spectacular golden anniversary edition of the popular German boat show, the first luxury yachts were aided ashore from the waters of the Rhine by a crane named 'Big Willi' and operator Norbert Pilarski.

Opening its doors on the 19th of January 2019, Boot Dusseldorf will invite thousands of visitors the chance to get up close and explore some of the most luxurious yachts on the market. Both global and local brands are scheduled to feature with an accompaniment of carefully selected exhibitors.

First to be lifted from the Rhine on the 18th of December 2018, the Sunseeker 74P is one of the must see vessels to be displayed in the prestigious Hall 6. A smart looking yacht with impeccable design traits, the model weighs 44 tons and measures around 23 metres.

The third vessel to make its way to the show via the Rhine is the Prestige P630.  The French shipyard are showcasing a flybridge model in their exhibit and are already expecting a high amount of interest in their fleet.

Joining the muticultural show, the Dutch shipyard Contest Yachts will also be appearing. Proudly displaying the nimble sailing yacht Contest C57, the vessel will be in hall 16 for the duration of the event.

The final vessel to make the approach to Boot Dusseldorf at this time is the Steeler 65. The model being showcased has the working title of 'Flyfish' and is an admirable flybridge. With a sleek and streamlined look, the Steeler 65 has effortless elegance and features a semi raised deckhouse.
