After three years in development Sunreef Yachts has revealed details of its new luxury catamaran range, which it claims takes a “fresh look at catamaran design”.
The new range measures 18m to 27m (60ft to 90ft) and boasts what the multihull specialists are calling “extreme living space”.
The reimagining of the traditional multihull design, has seen the Polish yard use the volume of both the hulls and the bridge deck to achieve the increase in living space.
The main deck salon features full-height glazing and opens wide onto the sides and the lounging area of the aft cockpit and there is what is being called an “imposing beach club”.
The new range allows for high levels of customization, for instance, the sundeck can play host to the master suite for panoramic views, and Owners can also add a large alfresco relaxation and fitness area.
Francis Lapp, Founder and President of Sunreef Yachts, was keen to stress the yard will continue to push the boundaries: “Innovation is the core of the Sunreef Yachts philosophy. It is the source of all our concepts and creations. We keep moving forward constantly and the years to come will definitely bring more innovations both in terms of sustainability and avant-gardist yacht design.”
Sunreef has demonstrated its innovation right from its foundation in 2002. Its inaugural yacht 22.5m (74ft) CHE, was the first ocean-going luxury catamaran to be fitted with a flybridge and earlier this year it announced a new eco-solar power system that it claims will deliver the industry’s top solar power efficiency.
Later this year it is set to deliver what will be its largest yacht and the largest yacht built in Poland, the 49m (160.7ft) Sunreef Power. To view more of its notable firsts you can browse all Sunreef Yachts for sale.
