Lynx Yachts delivers second YXT 24 Evolution 'Roe Shadow'

Dutch shipyard Lynx Yachts has successfully delivered the second YXT 24 Evolution hull named 'Roe Shadow'.

Handed over to her experienced Dutch owner, the 27.3m (90') custom support vessel is now on its way to the Mediterranean for its first summer season.

Powered by a pair of 800 hp MAN engines, for cruising speeds of 12 knots, 'Roe Shadow' features collaborative design work from Bernd Weel for exterior lines, naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and interior designs from Darnet Design.

Mounted with an HS-Marine knuckle boom crane, 'Roe Shadow' has a load capacity up to four tons.

We are very proud of this new vessel and want to express our special thanks to the whole team involved in the construction. In particular, we also want to thank the owner, his representative and ACP Surveyors, for the great cooperation during the lockdown and this unprecedented period we are all facing.

Suitable for oceangoing voyages, the multi-functional external deck spans 75sqm and can host a 9.8m Pascoe beach lander plus two Sea Doo GTR 230s.

When in use, the extensive deck area can be used for relaxation, socialising or as an external cinema thanks to the large 100 inch outdoor screen attached to the 360 degree view wheel house.

Interiors onboard the YXT 24 Evolution feature two double cabins forward, in addition to a crew mess and laundry area.

Including three washers and dryers, plus three refrigerators and freezers, the facilities significantly enhance storage capacities for the mothership which could be a superyacht or indeed an explorer yacht for sale.

Further cabins onboard act as storage for sports gear and equipment, with two cabins amidships suitable for housing sports equipment, like wetsuits, kite sails and jackets, as well as water sports gear.

A surf locker, with direct access to the swim platform, is situated within the lazarette which also hosts an accessible day head and shower.
