Housed under no less than 17 roofs, the biggest indoor yachting show in the world is back with more to offer than ever before.
Following on from the highly successful record-breaking golden anniversary edition back in 2019, this German show looks set to continue its phenomenal momentum and reputation as one of the world's most important yachting events.
A new motor yacht focused layout see up to nine halls dedicated to power and, with no London show to compete with, the big names in boating have made Boot 2020 the platform for some thrilling global debuts.
To get you started on planning your itinerary for the upcoming nine-day event, here is a selection of the best yachts on show.
Bavaria SR41
This being a German show, it only seems right to start with one of this country's most notable boat builders and the highly anticipated SR41 from Bavaria Yachts.
A combination of the best elements from their existing Sports and R lines, the new SR41 is available in three versions, soft top, hardtop and coupe (pictured), with an exciting big-boat feature below decks.
Designed in collaboration with Marco Casali from Too Design, there are several on-board innovations worth noting. A key feature is the full-beam owner's cabin amidships, a luxurious addition for a 13m yacht that would be even more newsworthy if it were not for the fact that the 12.5m Galeon 400 (see below) has just managed the same feat.
The deck gets some fun upgrades with a new transom module which allows owners and their guests to relax or dine as close to the water as possible. The area around the helm is dominated by a raised sunlounger, creating the space for the master cabin below, with a more conventional lounge / dinette area further aft.

Pearl 62
Taking over from the popular Pearl 60, Dixon Yacht Design brings another progressive, fast flybridge design to this iconic British brand.
Immediately notable for the vast areas of glass that wrap around the rakish external lines, the interior is ablaze with light, and style thanks to Pearl's continuing collaboration with Kelly Hoppen.
The deck salon features a galley aft layout with the forward lounge surrounded by double-height glass that then pushes even further up and over the interior helm. The four-cabin layout below decks features a full-beam master suite with its own private stairwell from the salon. A crew cabin at the stern makes a useful fifth guest option.
On deck, the flybridge design looks to be another winning combination of size and luxury, with a proper forward cockpit joining the aft deck lounge.

Princess X95
OK, so this isn't strictly a real debut, but visitors to Dusseldorf will be able to step onboard one of Princess Yachts' most exciting new models with a full-size main-deck mock-up of the X95 being shipped to the show.
Scheduled to launch in the Spring, the Princess X95 is all about extended cruising, time onboard, and wide-open interior and deck spaces, including a stunning 270-degree panoramic master suite.
If you're not in the market for a 29m yacht, it is still interesting to see an actual, full-size mock-up and the lengths builders go to in creating a new model.
In addition to the presentation of the X95 model, Princess will also be unveiling the F50, S62, S66, V55 and Y78 throughout the duration of the nine day event.

Sanlorenzo SL96 Asymmetric
Following on from the success of the SL102, Sanlorenzo will be launching a smaller sister-ship, the 96. Of course, the word small isn't particularly apt for a 96ft yacht that will be one of the largest on show for 2020.
Designed by the same team behind 102, with renowned car designer Chris Bangle leading the project, the SL96 utilises Sanlorenzos favoured asymmetrical deck plan, with a full working deck to just one side. This option increases internal volume, with Sanlorenzo claiming an additional 10 square metres of space is enjoyed for the living accommodation, delivering more room in the main salon to entertain guests, plus a starboard passageway which allows seamless access throughout the entire main deck.
Overnight accommodation is a major key feature of the new Italian model, with a split level master suite, a full-beam VIP amidships and a further two indulgent guest suites.

Windy 37 Shamal
There are very few things that float that can match a Windy sportsboat for sheer unadulterated fun, with a heavy dose of cool added in.
Said to be inspired by Windy sportsboats from the 1960s and 1970s, the new 37ft Shamal looks set to be another modern classic, a statement underpinned by a 45-knot top speed and design work by superyacht star Espen Øino.
Replacing the much-loved 35 Khamsin, the lines are now sharper and certainly more aggressive, but there is still a very useable luxury weekender ethos here, with a large comfortable cockpit to enjoy plus two double berth cabins below decks.

Solaris Power Lobster 48 Flybridge
Building on the current 48 Power model, the addition of a flybridge makes this Solaris model an attractive and highly appealing vessel.
Boasting a two cabin and two bathroom layout, the 48 Flybridge offers owners an additional relaxation space with an added dual sunpad on the flybridge. A secondary driving station is also located on the flybridge with an option to negate the helm and instead install a sunroof to give the main deck more light.
There are two IPS engine options of 440hp or 480hp, with the top speed reaching for 35 knots.

Galeon 400 Fly
Galeon describes the 400 as a third-generation yacht because this flybridge cruiser packs in all the innovations Galeon is known for in one very neat and accessible package.
It is the smallest model from the Galeon fleet to offer a folding balcony from the aft cockpit, creating a noticeably larger deck area. This open and convertible ethos spreads to the salon where traditional cockpit doors are joined by a vast glass door to starboard, creating that inside/outside feel.
Below decks there are two ensuite cabins, but the real story is a full-beam master cabin amidships, making the 400 the smallest yacht (for now) to offer such a feature.

Sunseeker Manhattan 68
A brand new Sunseeker model is always big news, but this new four-cabin Manhattan 68 is important for more reasons than usual.
Having been busy dominating the 30m-plus market, this 21m Manhattan thrusts Sunseeker into the mainstream sector, taking the fight to the doors of Princess. The 68 is also the first truly new model to reflect Sunseeker's next-generation interior culture, with its cohesive mix of lighting and styling.
On deck, the 68 must have the most action-packed transom on the market. Beginning with a hydraulic bathing platform that has built-in steps, the transom offers an ideal base for watersport fun with a locker opening up a hidden treasure of sea scooters, an overhead shower, a storage rack for SCUBA tanks plus snorkelling paraphernalia.
On the main deck there is a smart forward cockpit lounge, while the flybridge above looks to be a real winner.
Sunseeker has been one of the best and bravest when it comes to the use of glass, and here we can see two huge sweeps for the deck and below decks accommodation. The four-cabin layout includes a galley aft layout and a separate stairwell for the large full-beam master suite. On paper, at least, the Manhattan 68 looks to be a class-leading contender.

Fairline Targa 45GT
Adding flexibility to the previous Open model of the Targa vessel, the inclusion of a sliding glass roof and cockpit doors adds more luxury to the yacht plus enhanced protection for the main deck.
Differing to the Open model of the Targa 45, the cockpit is smaller but the need for a lower deck dinette has been made redundant. Meaning there is now space for a third cabin on the lower deck next to the VIP and the ensuite master.
Capable of reaching around 33 knots, the new Fairline model option also features a tender garage for easy storage and retrieval of a dinghy.
Fairline are also due to launch the brand new Squadron 50 plus an anticipated mystery model, which will be kept under lock and key until Boot Düsseldorf 2020 opens.

Absolute Navetta 52
Not a world debut, but it is the first time the Navetta 52 has been shown at Dusseldorf, besides, we like these practical, well-made future cruisers so much we'd find any excuse to include them.
Incredibly spacious across the interior and decks, the stunning Navetta 52 feels much bigger than her LOA might suggest. The combination of innovative design, bright and airy spaces and lots of natural light working to deliver an inviting interior.
Overnight accommodation onboard can accommodate up to six guests at any one time with the layout comprising of a full-beam ensuite master cabin, a VIP cabin in the bow which is angled and a third twin cabin which shares a bathroom with the VIP cabin. A new feature for 2020 is a redesigned hardtop with a fabric sunroof.

Cranchi Settantotto
A monumentous launch for Italian shipyard, Cranchi as it celebrates 150 years of boat building with this captivating new four-cabin 78ft flagship, the Settantotto.
Powered by triple Volvo Penta D13-IPS1350 engines, the most powerful of the IPS range, producing a mighty 3,000hp, the Settantotto has a claimed top speed of 33 knots. Along with the speed, Cranchi is also promising reduced consumption, noise and vibration.
With both exterior and interior design work by Christian Grande, the Settantotto looks a very stylish yacht, with vast glass sections not only across the main deck but also for the below decks cabins.
The basic layout sees a long sweep of living space to the main deck, with the galley set forward close to the lower helm station. The master stateroom is amidships, with the guest quarters forward plus a two-berth crew quarters set further aft. As the largest yacht in the fleet, a higher level of customisation will be available to owners.
