The new company GX Superyachts has debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, introducing an ambitious lineup of aluminum yachts ranging from 24-56m (78-164ft) in length. Developed by the hybrid team at Greenline Yachts, the new brand aims to combine luxury and environmental responsibility. The brand’s first 42m (138ft) model is already under construction.
GX Superyachts will utilize Greenline Yachts' knowledge of efficient hybrid propulsion, smart hull design, and solar charging technology. The new motor yacht models feature hybrid propulsion and solar panels that reduce CO2 emissions by 60%. The yachts offer innovative design options, including Coupé and Raised Pilothouse (RPH) flybridge variants, all crafted by designer Marco Casali.
The brand is led by a team with extensive experience in hybrid yacht production. Vladimir Zinchenko, owner of Greenline Yachts, highlighted their journey from the world's first serial production hybrid yacht to now entering the superyacht sector.
The idea for GX Superyachts was inspired by Greenline's all-electric 9.99m boat, which caught the attention of Prince Albert II of Monaco at a previous yacht show. The first GX42 model's construction is well underway, with a keel-laying ceremony held on June 1, 2024. SES Yachts of Tuzla, Turkey, has been chosen as the build partner for these larger aluminum yachts.
Marco Casali's design expertise brings sleek exterior lines and exceptional interior volumes to the GX Superyachts range. Each new yacht model offers luxurious amenities, such as a vast beach club with fold-down wings and a hydraulic platform. The Coupé version features a hidden sun deck with a jacuzzi and bar, while the RPH variant offers a large flybridge.
Each yacht in our GX Superyacht range is equipped with our innovative hybrid propulsion system, allowing for both efficient electric cruising and powerful diesel performance when needed. At 6 knots in electric mode, these yachts can achieve an incredible range of up to 100nm. In diesel mode, they can cross the Atlantic at 12 knots, while the max range is 11,571nm at 6kts.”
