Pastrovich Studio, a yacht design house, has unveiled an intriguing concept for a 90m (295ft) superyacht named X-KID STUFF.
The brainchild of naval architect Stefano Pastrovich, the design challenges conventional norms by incorporating an expandable area that increases space when the yacht is anchored.
Tailored for adventurers and what the company terms 'sophisticated explorers,' X-KID STUFF aims to deliver both luxurious comfort and accessibility to adventurous activities.
Boasting a sleek profile while underway, the megayacht also features high topsides gradually tapering towards a spacious sugar scoop transom. The standout feature of the concept, however, is the ability for the yacht's sides, from the transom forward to nearly halfway along its length, to fold away, creating a fully open platform from which a variety of watercraft can be launched. This design element allows for the integration of exploration equipment, ranging from jet skis to 15m (49ft) RIBs.
Moreover, the concept emphasizes the possibility of various furniture layouts — thanks to the expanding sides — offering customizable options for both interior design and layout.
Although the realization of X-KID STUFF remains uncertain, it stems from a reputable design house with a track record of involvement in cutting-edge projects. Stefano Pastrovich's previous contributions to groundbreaking yacht design, such as the Wallypower 118, underscore the studio's commitment to pushing the boundaries of yacht design.
