Bernardo and Martina Zuccon of Zuccon International Project have been awarded the 2024 Compasso d’Oro, the world's oldest and most prestigious industrial design award, for their work on the Sanlorenzo SP110 yacht.
The awards ceremony took place at the ADI Design Museum in Milan. The Compasso d’Oro, promoted by the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI), recognizes outstanding design and innovation. The Sanlorenzo SP110 was selected from among 32 products and services in the 2022 and 2023 ADI Design Index.
The SP110 is praised for its innovative design, which redefines the concept of a floating home. The jury cited the yacht’s new proportions, innovative relationship between transparent and opaque surfaces, and new living solutions as standout features. The project also emphasizes sustainability in both construction and use.
There are three SP110 yachts delivered to date. ANMAX was the first yacht built on the SP110 design, delivered in May 2022. STEEL IT, the second SP110 launched in January 2023. The third so far in the series, is HH, delivered in July 2023.
We are honored to receive it for a highly fascinating and challenging project like the SP110, which demonstrates that research into onboard living can still offer new ideas and versatile products for the market."
