Sanlorenzo unveil first look at SP110 - the fastest model to date

Sanlorenzo has unveiled a first look at a new project that has been created in collaboration with Pershing's founder Tilli Antonelli.

Breaking ground as the fastest model to emerge from the Italian shipyard, the SP110 will be the brand's first open coupé design and has already got the industry talking.

The SP110 has already captured attention with its raw and dominant aesthetic, and impressive speed and performance specs completing the package. Boasting an anticipated top speed of 40 knots, she is to be powered by triple 2,000-horsepower MAN V12 engines, coupled to MJP waterjets.

Ideal for quick trips from Miami to the Bahamas, the SP110 is ideal for an indulgent weekender or a tender packed with attitude.

Speed is not the only highlight of the first model from the new Sanlorenzo SP line. It prioritizes efficiency and great versatility for owners, thanks to its fractional waterjet installation that allows the yacht to run on one, two, or all three engines, optimizing performance and fuel consumption.

Offering a predicted cruising speed of 31-32 knots in flat conditions, the hull design has been created by Marco Arnaboldi, and features an anchor integrated into the bow with twin hard chines for better stability and reduced drag.

There’s not a huge market for the SP110, but it’s an interesting niche because even though SUV cars are the biggest sellers, people will always want to drive Porsches and Ferraris.

In terms of design, the SP110 stands out with its unconventional split-level layout and sleek exterior profile inspired by the great white shark.

The interiors, which have been designed by Lissoni & Partners, offer a generous lounge on the lower deck plus a raised main salon, that is abundantly lit by natural daylight and provides a spacious environment seamlessly connected to the natural surroundings.

The furnishings are true to Sanlorenzo's signature trends of elegance and timelessness, featuring teak, resin, and lava stone elements.

Combining high-speed thrills with eco-responsibility, the speedy SP110 will host sustainability features including a photovoltaic system and emission reduction controls.

Plans to expand the SP series are already being made, with a 27m (90ft) model scheduled for launch next year and a 40m (130ft) flagship in the works.
