Sleek and sporty Pearl 62 revealed by Pearl Yachts

Pearl Yachts revealed its all-new Pearl 62 model, which is already under construction, at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Scheduled to be launched at the Boot Dusseldorf show in 2020, the new Pearl 62 features popular collaborative design work from Bill Dixon and renowned interior designer Kelly Hoppen MBE.

On schedule to be completed in January 2020, the Pearl 62 has been an exciting surprise announcement at the prestigious Cote D'Azur-based event. Managing director, Iain Smallridge, revealed the news at an exclusive press event where it was confirmed that the new vessel will be on display from 18th to 26th January 2020 at Boot Dusseldorf.

Measuring up at 18.6m with a beam of 5.3m, the new vessel follows in the footsteps of previous models, such as the Pearl 80, with four guest cabins and a design in which owners get the full experience of a yachting lifestyle.

On the exterior, the emphasis is on offering the owner a great lifestyle from the forward seating and sunbathing area, to the aft deck and hi-low platform, with great connection to the sea, and dedicated storage for jet skis and paddleboards.

Powered by a pair of Volvo IPS engines, the sleek and sporty model has an impressive top speed of 33 knots and can reach a range of 300 nautical miles.

Exteriors of the vessel provide a welcoming and relaxing environment with multiple locations for socialising under the sun. An easy access swim platform allows for seamless transitions to the sea for adrenaline-pumped watersports sessions and a spacious flybridge, with barbeque and fully equipped bar, is an ideal place for memorable evening cocktails.

This interior allows the owner to add their personal touches, which gives her a unique appeal. The luxurious appeal of a traditional superyacht was retained by using exquisite joinery and detailing along with my signature neutrals, ensuring that every detail blended seamlessly to create a chic, cutting-edge yacht interior.

Interiors for the new Pearl 62 are effortlessly elegant and on-trend. Their timeless appeal is achieved through a clever combination of textures and materials, in addition to desirable colour contrasts and an abundance of natural light.

Immaculately detailed finishes are traits of Hoppen's impressive talents, plus curated pieces and bespoke built-in furniture items all come together to give the Pearl 62 a modern and streamlined appearance.

Accommodation onboard can accommodate up to eight overnight guests within an equally luxurious environment. The owner's cabin has its own private access just forward of the aft deck and the further three guest cabins also feature their own forward-facing entrances.
