Interfacing with third-party commands and control systems, Vigilant combines detailed 3D bathymetry with live, and past, tracking to provide advanced warnings of sand banks, shipwrecks, rocks and other hazardous obstacles ahead.
Two modes are integrated in to the system which are sonar and 3D. The sonar mode engages the 1.5km capability, along with alarms for ucoming hazards. The 3D mode on the other hand provides a more visual option with a colour coded bathymetry map, identifying the safety surrounding the vessel up to 600 metres.
