Italian yard Tankoa Yachts has revealed it has sold its first T580 yacht, a 58m (190ft) 'worldwide explorer’ with a range in excess of 5,000nm,
Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the T580 represents another project with regular collaborator Francesco Paszkowski who has provided the sporty exterior and, alongside Margherita Casprini, the interior design as well.
Whilst information about the yacht is currently limited we do know she will have a forward helideck, a large beach club with folding side walls to make the most of what Tankoa calls “a private island” and a garage capable of accommodating two tenders, including a 9m (29.5ft) limousine tender. In terms of accommodation she can accommodate 12 guests across six cabins.
"With the sale of this vessel, Tankoa consolidates its portfolio of orders,"says Euro Contenti, CEO of Tankoa Yachts "The aim of the shipyard is to successfully secure the sale of three yachts over 40 metres each year, to stabilise production and optimise the organisational structure, while continuing to guarantee the highest quality standards that have always been one of its distinguishing features."
Construction on the new Tankoa T580 is set to begin in July, with an estimated delivery date of April 2024.
Whilst Tankoa is relatively new to the industry, debuting its first yacht, 69.3m (227ft) SUERTE at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2015 its yachts have already made quite an impact.
The aforementioned debut yacht SUERTE was nominated for both the World Superyacht Awards and ShowBoats Design Awards, whilst BINTADOR and VERTIGE from its popular S501 series took home honours in the World Yachts Trophy and the World Superyacht Awards.
The new T580 is in keeping with the other yachts in Tankoa’s fleet, it has been individually created to a client’s ideas but is based on an existing and proven design platform. To take a look in more detail view all Tankoa Yachts for sale.
