EXTRA Yachts has revealed its newest project, the X100 Triplex superyacht, an evolution of the Extra Triplex range.
Known for its expansive interior and exterior spaces, the X100 Triplex motor yacht promises enhanced comfort, liveability, low fuel consumption, and long-range cruising.
The exterior design, crafted by Studio Agon, and the interiors, by Laura Brocchini Design, showcase contemporary styling and functionality, while Extra Yachts handled the naval engineering. The tri-deck 28-meter yacht boasts a high bow reminiscent of explorer yachts and a hardtop to enhance the sun deck's usability.
The X100 Triplex superyacht features large floor-to-ceiling windows on both the main and upper decks, and also in the owner’s cabin where large side windows retract to offer a panoramic view from the bow and sides.
The aft cockpit is designed with dual levels. The first level, close to the beach club, is furnished with a large sun lounger, while the second level features an informal lounge. The backrest of the sun lounger doubles as a seat facing the lounge, linking the two areas. Fold-down side terraces further enhance this section of the yacht.
A centrally located stairway in the cockpit leads to the upper deck without obstructing the flow onboard. The upper deck boasts a lounge area with freestanding furniture, providing the owner with versatile arrangement options. On the sun deck, a large bar, sunbathing areas, and a dining table for up to 10 people can be found. The layout also allows for additional features like a jacuzzi at the bow or a stern lifting platform for the tender.
The interior design of the X100 Triplex motor yacht is modern and sophisticated, with natural oak tones complemented by metallic grey details. The range's versatile interior layout offers three different arrangements, including options for the galley and pantry placement between the main and upper decks.
The main deck features a spacious indoor lounge and a master cabin with access to an office, vanity, double-sink bathroom with separate toilets, and a large wardrobe. The upper deck houses the helm station, another lounge area with two armchairs, a coffee table, and a formal dining table for 10. Below deck, there are four double cabins with private bathrooms, including two VIP cabins with double beds and two twin cabins. The crew area, also below deck, accommodates five crew members in three cabins, complete with a separate laundry area.
The stern garage, located beneath the sunbathing area, can house a tender of nearly 4m (13ft), two Seabobs, and additional accessories. The propulsion system includes two powerful 1,550hp MAN engines, enabling a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. An optional version with 1,800hp MAN engines is available, providing a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
