The first yacht from Extra Yachts Triplex line has been launched with the 28.6m (94ft) X96 hitting the water in Italy this week.
The Extra X96 Triplex features exterior lines from Francesco Guida and interiors from Hot Lab Studio, with the contrast between the soft white fiberglass surfaces and the expansive dark glass windows noticeable at her launch.
Clearly focused on maximum volume, the X96 can accommodate ten guests in five cabins which, unusually for a yacht of this size, include a full-beam, main deck master suite. Also rare in sub 30m (98ft) yachts is her trideck layout, with the four spacious guest cabins all below deck.
Powerwise a semi-displacement propulsion system with three 1000 hp Volvo Penta IPS engines gives a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The X96 Triplex is set to get her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
