On Deck

The Chris Craft 35 Launch GT is designed for outdoor enjoyment. The GT line is built as open, day-use boats with some accommodation below, but the focus is on water sports and fun on the water. This particular boat features a hard top, which is an optional extra. It's colour-coded to match the hull, adding a smart, unified look. A towing point on the hard top supports wakeboarding and similar activities.

The layout includes steps at the back and a widened walkthrough, improving accessibility. A side dive door enables easy access to the water, and there's a fold-out ladder beneath it. There’s a wet bar with a barbecue, sink, and two fridges - one on each side. A hidden shower is fitted at the stern, and shore power connections are back there as well. A boarding ladder tucks away under the platform, and pop-out cleats are fitted to keep the lines clean.

The backrests are removable and feature Chris Craft logos. The rear seating includes storage under the cushions. A built-in table folds out from underneath one of the seats and locks into place when in use.

Lighting is integrated under the hard top and is colour-changing. An electric sunshade can be deployed at the push of a button to extend shade aft. The speaker grills and fittings are all colour-coded, including the audio setup. Cup holders are dotted throughout the boat. Details like thick stainless steel rails and wooden inserts with Chris Craft logos reinforce the sense of quality.

At the bow, cushions convert the area into a large sunpad. Armrests drop down for comfort. A Fusion stereo control panel is placed up front along with integrated speakers. The anchor and winch are located right at the bow.

The windscreen can be closed off, and there's a door that spans across for added shelter in the cockpit when underway.

Interior Accommodation

Though not designed for extended cruising, the Chris Craft 35 GT includes a small cabin space below deck, mainly to get out of the sun or rest. There's enough space to lie down, with an infill cushion that connects to the table mechanism. A small wardrobe is fitted inside, and some of the electrics are controlled from here too.

The boat features electrically adjustable passenger seating. A hidden heads compartment is also tucked into the design. It includes a toilet, basin, and mirror, providing the essentials in a compact space.

Performance

The engine bay houses two 350hp V8 Volvo Penta petrol engines. These push the boat to over 40 knots, with comfortable cruising at 30 knots. Estimated range is around 200 to 250 miles, which is typical for this type of boat. Access to the battery boxes, battery switches, and other engine bay fittings is also provided.

The boat features a SeaKeeper stabiliser, trim tab controls, a bow thruster, and joystick controls for precise low-speed handling. The helm is well-equipped with navigation and engine displays, traditional rev counters, and a Launch 35 GT inscription across the dash.

In Summary

The Chris Craft 35 Launch GT is a high-quality American-built day boat with an emphasis on fun, water sports, and stylish design. The boat handles tight manoeuvring with ease and backs up its stylish looks with strong on-water performance.
