Interior

In the main living area the polished wood and light leather interior are admired. Of mention are the extendable table and the TV. He mentions the boat's bar area and the galley (kitchen) located on the main deck. The galley's positioning frees up space for an additional cabin below deck.

At the helm there is a split seat design, allowing easy access to both seats. The helm is equipped with engine instrumentation, a switch panel for electrics, throttles, VHF radio, and a Raymarine screen.

The yacht is a three-cabin layout, which would be very beneficial for families with more than two children. The third cabin contains bunk beds. The second cabin is larger and contains two single beds and a wardrobe. This cabin has access to a shared bathroom which acts as an ensuite at night. The owner's cabin is at the front of the yacht and a particular highlight is the curved woodworking and rails around the bed. It also has an ensuite bathroom.

Nick praises the yacht's aesthetic, highlighting its timeless styling, particularly the curved windows and engine vents. He notes that the boat has aged well, maintaining an enduring stylishness rather than fading into outdated fashion.

He then proceeds to the flybridge, noting the solid wooden steps leading up. The flybridge includes a seating area, a wet bar with a barbecue and sink, and a fridge. There is also a space for a sunbed at the front.

Going back down, Nick shows a large storage area that also houses the generator. He reveals a small crew cabin, which he mentions could be useful for kids or occasional use.

Nick draws attention to the yacht's conventional shaft drive. He explains how the design allows the propellers to be closer to the hull, reducing the angle of the shaft for optimal flatness. He also discusses the trim tabs, which adjust the boat's trim when cruising at speed.

The engine room is accessed through the saloon floor. The yacht is powered by a pair of Volvo Penta TMD 75 EDC engines, each providing 480 horsepower, which allows the yacht to reach speeds of around 30 knots. Cruising comfortably in the mid-20s will provide a range of 300 nautical miles.  

Nick concludes the video by praising the Fairline Phantom 46 for its straightforwardness and nice finishing touches, such as the handrail in the ceiling and the lining. He mentions that the yacht has a pleasing feel to it, demonstrating his overall positive impression.
