Interior

Beginning the tour with the interior of the yacht, the galley aft layout is highlighted. He appreciates how the doors and a drop window can completely open up the space, linking the indoor and outdoor areas. There is a matte walnut finish, with fluted areas, and this attention to detail is typical of Fairline. The galley includes a large fridge and freezer, all-electric cooking with a ceramic hob, a dishwasher, and a sink.

Opposite the galley, the dining area is shown. The table has a beautiful grain pattern, rubber sections that prevent rattling and can unfold for more space. He also highlights the windows on both sides, which allow loads of light and provide views.

In the saloon area, the comfortable, deep upholstered furniture and the neat coffee table are pointed out. There is a Sonos Hi-Fi system, which can be linked to a phone for portable music.

The lower helm, which is in the sports cruiser style, includes a massive roof overhead that can be opened. There is a flush-mounted Garmin kit across the helm, with triple screens and a dedicated display for boat operations. Also mentioned is the air conditioning system.

The lower deck has a unique layout. The day heads is highlighted with beautiful door handles and backlit shelves. The VIP cabin at the bow is very spacious due to the alternative layout. The cabin features a large wardrobe, a dressing area, and a mirror. Nick prefers this layout, arguing that the three cabins each with an ensuite are sufficient, eliminating the need for a separate day heads. Also shown is the third cabin, which also has its own ensuite,

The owner’s cabin is described as "stunning". He takes note of the washer dryer, the big wardrobe, and the ensuite with a big sink and shower. He also shows the access trap for engineering areas.

On Deck

The yacht is a hybrid of a flybridge boat and a high-performance boat, with a tender garage at the back and a hi-lo platform with a 500-kilogram lift. Nick highlights the large sunbed aft, the seat with storage, the side decks, and the social foredeck area. He also takes a look at the flybridge, which he describes as a good size considering its sports orientation. Also showcased were the bar area, the seating, and the upper helm.

Performance

In the engine room, there are a pair of Caterpillar C32 engines. The boat can reach a top speed of 37 knots, comfortably cruising at 28 knots. He shows the fuel tanks, the circuit breakers, the air conditioning units, and the generator. He appreciates the simplicity of the conventional shaft drive.

In Summary

Throughout the tour, Nick is impressed by the attention to detail and the quality of the finishes on the Fairline Phantom 65. He shows appreciation for the yacht's design, performance, and comfort.
