On Deck

Boarding the yacht happens via the hi-lo bathing platform, which can hold a Williams TurboJet 325 tender. There is also a garage for storing toys, deck gear, or other equipment.

The cockpit area can be enclosed with a canopy, offering protection in bad weather or when leaving the boat. The garage hinges open for access to storage. A lift window and a door connect the cockpit to the interior, allowing for an open layout. A small bar area features a flip-over counter for convenience.

The side decks provide secure passage to the bow, with high rails and an overhang for a touch of superyacht style. A side door next to the helm allows the owner to step out directly onto the deck when docking, with a cleat positioned nearby for tying off. The bow features a cabana that folds into a recess and sunbathing space with fold-down backrests. The anchor winch and chain system are mounted forward.

The flybridge includes an upper helm with multifunction displays, engine controls, a bow thruster, and a VHF radio. The elevated position provides excellent visibility. A sunbathing area, a bar with a sink, a barbecue, and a fridge enhance the social space. The seating area can expand for dining. A perspex door drops down to keep the flybridge dry when enclosed.

Interior Accommodation

A large fridge-freezer sits opposite ample storage spaces. The battery management system, including circuit breakers, main battery switches, and solar panel readings, is easily accessible. The yacht runs on a lithium battery system, supplying power for hotel loads like the fridge, freezer, lighting, and instrumentation. The system allows for days of operation without needing shore power or a generator.

The galley has an electric oven, a hob, and plenty of storage. A large sliding side door provides ventilation and easy access to the side deck. The saloon is bright, with large windows and opening doors creating a breezy atmosphere. A height-adjustable table can convert into an occasional sleeping area.

The helm station is equipped with large multifunction displays, autopilot, shaft drive engine controls, a bow thruster, and a VHF radio. A camera system provides a visual of the bathing platform for easier manoeuvring.

Owner's Cabin

The full-beam owner's cabin includes large hull windows, seating, and plenty of storage with hanging lockers and shelving. If the third cabin is omitted, a large walk-in wardrobe is added, accessible via a door in this cabin. The en suite bathroom features a separate rainfall shower.

Guest Accommodation

The VIP cabin is spacious, with large hull windows and cutaway bulwarks allowing for a wide view. It includes an overhead hatch, ample storage, and USB power sockets by the bed. It shares an en suite bathroom with the third cabin, which serves as the day head.

Cabin three has multiple layout options: bunk beds, a full-width double bed, an office setup, or it can be removed entirely to create a large walk-in wardrobe for the owner's cabin. A washing machine can be installed in a dedicated storage area, accessed from this cabin.

Performance

The engine room houses twin 440hp Yanmar engines on V-drives. The yacht reaches a top speed of about 25 knots, with a cruising speed of 18 knots and a range of approximately 250 nautical miles at that speed. Slower cruising speeds extend the range to nearly 1,000 nautical miles. A generator is installed, along with a fire suppression system that includes a manual override for remote activation. A hot water cylinder is positioned nearby.

In Summary

The Greenline 45 Fly makes a strong impression as a practical, well-sized cruiser. It feels easy to move around, and the design choices prioritise usability and owner-operation. The side door by the helm is a great feature, making docking simple, and the solar-powered system is impressive, allowing extended use without shore power or a generator.
