On Deck

The Greenline 48 Fly is a hybrid between a trawler yacht and a conventional flybridge cruiser. In fact, the boat can be equipped with a hybrid drive, and the manufacturer has put a lot of effort into electric drive and solar power.

The boat has wide side decks which give a secure feeling provided by the deep bulwarks. Also highlighted are the solar panels that have been integrated into the design to charge the yacht's upgraded batteries, which can be used to power high-load equipment without needing to run a generator.

The flybridge is described as "great sized" due to its extension to the back of the yacht. Also appreciated is the stainless steel mast with space for the radar. The double helm, wet bar, and the innovative seating that can be adjusted for more forward-facing seating are all highlighted.

Interior

This yacht has a galley aft layout and the large window that lifts to connect the interior and exterior areas. There is a bar area that extends out to serve food or drink to the cockpit. The yacht's seating area and large windows offering a great view outside also caught attention.

The Greenline 48 features a three-cabin layout with two guest cabins on either side and a master cabin at the front. Of particular note in the master cabin is the size, light, and the large windows that provide a decent view, as well as the cutaway bulwarks outside that allow a direct view out.

Also mentioned is a small storage area under the back seat, which could also serve as a single crew cabin.

Performance

The yacht's engine room houses Cummins 380 horsepower engines capable of powering the boat to about 25 knots. The boat has a V-drive system, which allows the engines to sit further back in the boat, providing more room for cabins.

In Summary

Overall, Nick seems impressed by the Greenline 48 Fly's features, design, and practicality.
