Interior

The Miami-based designer has done 'a remarkable job', creating an interior featuring light oak wood that is quite special.

The main living area continues to impress with its comfortable seating and dining spaces, and the magnificently large windows that offer panoramic views even when seated. The yacht has a well-equipped galley area, which can be partitioned off for privacy when needed.

In the yacht's main deck owner's cabin, there are large cedar-lined wardrobes, a dressing area with large hull windows, and a well-appointed ensuite. There are also four spacious guest cabins, each with their own ensuite bathrooms.

The Sky Lounge, with its wooden ceiling, gives off a 'beach house vibe'. It houses another helm position with multi-function displays, engine instrumentation, and throttle controls.

On Deck

The yacht has a large and sociable cockpit area, complete with a bar, ice maker, and fridge, providing a welcoming space for guests. He also notes the clever design of doors on the side decks, which can be closed to prevent drafts when the yacht is anchored.

The yacht also features a beach club area at water level, equipped with a bar and seating area, making it perfect for water sports or relaxed socializing.

The upper deck is equally impressive, with a hot tub, bar area, and a large space that can be used for sunbathing or to store a tender or jet skis.

Crew Accommodation

The yacht has a well-designed crew area, complete with cooking facilities, laundry, and separate cabins for the captain and crew.

Performance

The engine space houses two Caterpillar C32As with 1900 horsepower each. These can achieve a top speed of 20 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots will provide a range of about 1,700 nautical miles, which can be extended to 3,000 nautical miles at a slower speed.

In Summary

Nick is particularly impressed by the unique interior of the yacht, which was custom-designed for a client aiming for a 'cabin in Colorado' feel. Overall, his tour of the Horizon FD100 Tri-deck yacht paints a picture of a highly luxurious and carefully designed yacht, perfect for both relaxation and long-range cruising.
