Interior

In the main saloon area, there is a dark wenge wood with a satin finish, which is super classy and subtle. A wonderful highlight were the floor-to-ceiling windows offering impressive views, which are a standard feature of Sunseeker yachts. Also of mention was a TV that rises from a cabinet for night-time viewing.

The dining area boasts large storage areas on both sides, housing crockery and cutlery. The master cabin on the main deck was a highlight, taking up the entire width of the boat, thus ensuring maximum space and privacy. He was fond of the views from the cabin's windows, the AV system, wardrobes, and the luxurious bathroom.

He took time to explore the bathroom further, pointing out the designer taps and clever layout with lots of storage. A walk-in wardrobe for changing clothes and a dressing table with a view also caught his attention, admiring the meticulous attention to detail in the design.

The guest areas were next on his tour. He detailed the four cabins on the lower deck, two of which can be converted to double bed cabins. Nick appreciated that each cabin had its ensuite, AV system, and touchscreen controls for lights and blinds. He was particularly pleased with the two VIP guest cabins, which had more floor space, larger ensuites, and well-thought-out storage spaces.

The wheelhouse features three screens for navigation, radar, and operating systems, as well as the communication systems, thrusters, throttles, and autopilot controls.

The crew area, which includes a crew lounge with a TV, cooking equipment, and plenty of storage. He was pleased with the size and comfort of the crew cabins, each of which had its own ensuite.

Nick was particularly impressed with the yacht's exterior angular styling. The aft cockpit, which is was typical for a yacht of this size, has a large overhang for shade, ample seating, and plenty of space.

The foredeck area was another feature admired for the social space it provided, along with the flight-adjustable table, seating, and jacuzzi. He described it as the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. The flybridge was equally impressive, with a bar area for catering that also serves as a helm station, and a comfortable seating area.

The beach club area allows for closer access to the water, complete with a shower and hydraulic platform. This is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and accessing the tender and jet skis. The garage housed a Williams 565 diesel jet tender and provided storage for water toys.

The engine room was clean, well-maintained, and housed powerful MTU diesel engines. These engines could provide a top speed of around 25 knots and a range of up to 1,500 miles.

Overall, he found the Sunseeker 116 yacht to be a magnificent vessel, with great attention to detail, luxurious amenities, and impressive performance.
