On Deck

Nick starts by admiring the yacht's exterior, calling it a "thing of beauty". Boarding via the passerelle which leads straight up to the open and spacious cockpit.

The yacht features a beach club with a side balcony, providing a wonderful location right above the water.  These platforms all cantilever up whilst underway.  The seating area here doubles up as the yacht's tender storage.

In front of the flybridge on the foredeck there is a beautiful sunbathing area.  The flybridge itself has a classy, timeless feel, with a barbecue and outdoor dining area. The yacht's upper driving position offers breathtaking views.

Interior

The 'A' in 'Asymmetric' refers to the yacht's unique design of having a side deck only on the starboard side, allowing for a large, spacious saloon. The saloon has a balcony on the side, a removable bulkhead for uninterrupted views, and a large seating and dining area. The yacht's woodwork is subtle and high-quality. The lower deck houses five cabins and features a lift, a unique feature on a yacht, which connects the main deck to the lower deck.

The guest cabins and the owner's cabin are showcased, with note to their size and luxury. The owner cabin has exclusive access to a private area on the bow, which is found to be a brilliant idea.

The wheelhouse features a leaning post and the boat's control panels. Nick appreciates the thought put into designing the yacht, with areas for both relaxation and work. The galley area is a great size and features a wine cooler.

Crew Accommodation

The crew area is accessed from the galley.  Here there is a good sized mess area with TV still with high-quality woodwork.  There are four crew cabins including a captains cabin with a small desk area, TV and ensuite.  The other three cabins feature bunk beds with good storage and ensuites.

Performance

In the engine room, there are MTU 2000 series engines, which give the yacht a top speed of around 25 knots and a range of 1200 miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots. The engine room is in immaculate condition and has good accessibility to all the systems.

In Summary

Nick's enthusiasm for the Sanlorenzo SL120 Asymmetric is evident, and he seems to have no criticisms or dislikes about the yacht.
