The six-day event in September will showcase more than 600 boats, including catamarans, tenders, sailing yachts and a huge selection of motor yachts and superyachts, across the iconic Vieux Port and Port Canto.
With over 500 exhibitors in attendance and a firmly established reputation as Europe’s leading in-water boating event, the Festival is always a fantastic opportunity to meet an abundance of builders and brokers and benefit from some expert advice about buying a yacht.
Each year more than 50,000 visitors descend on the town for the event and fast, free and frequent shuttles between the two hosting ports making it easy to see everything on offer.
What can I expect at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2021?
The show is a haven for the leading shipyards in the world - 600 boats are registered to attend with 140 making their world premieres.
As the first event in the boating season visitors will get the privilege of being seeing some stunning debuts as builders, designers and brokers use the event as an opportunity to unveil their latest ideas and innovations.
Superyachts and motorboats
Head straight for the beautiful Vieux Port if you want to see the best superyachts on the market. This picturesque port hosts the Superyacht Extension of the show, where eye catching boats up to 55 meters long, along with their brokers and builders, can be found.
In close vicinity, and also at Vieux Port, La Jetée houses yachts and superyachts up to 45 meters long, whilst La Pantiero is home to a range of smaller upmarket motorboats up to 34 meters. Finally sailing and motorboats up to 25 meters can be found at Quai Saint-Pierre.
If you aren’t dazzled enough by the vessels here, a quick hop across to Port Canto, and you can find around 50 stylish second-hand yachts up to 65 meters in length.
With brokers and builders on hand this is a great opportunity to make a purchase for the season ahead.
Sailing boats
The diversity and wealth of sailing will be showcased to the maximum at Port Canto, with the world’s largest in-water exhibition of sailing boats on display.
Around 400 linear meters of the quayside are reserved for monohulls and 450 linear meters for multihulls. Expect around 120 boats and 80 exhibitors to attend.
Speak to the biggest names in luxury yachts
The Palais Des Festivals is the place to go to meet the main players in the world of luxury yachting. You will find everyone represented here including shipyards, architects and designers, tourism organisations, service companies and much more.
Step outside and you will be presented with a range of toys and tenders so you can see the latest innovations on the market.

Concours d'Élegance
This parade of motor boats and day boats under 12 meters is one of the iconic parts of the Festival and is a chance to see an eclectic mix of vintage and modern boats, whilst at the same time paying tribute to the rich history of yachting in the heart of the French Riviera.
Toys area
Along with sailing boats and luxury superyachts the quays of Port Canto also have an area dedicated to the growing sector of toys - essential equipment on yachts if you want a fun and exciting time!
