Our Verdict

The Navetta 64 stands as a truly remarkable cruising vessel, marrying speed, capability, and luxury with innovative design concepts throughout its bold, progressive structure. While the optional aft lounge may capture attention, doubling as a mini beach club and an impressive guest cabin, it's the yacht's overall design that truly shines through. From the intelligently crafted owner's cabin to the strategically placed storage room and raised helm, every aspect reflects thought and innovation.

Rivals to Consider

Whether you think the Navetta 64 is an SUV or a trawler yacht is largely irrelevant. Both genres are about space and serious cruising ability and this yacht has plenty of both. For the record, Absolute see its Navettas as trawlers, incredibly modern, luxurious and occasionally left-field trawlers, but undeniably practical examples of their kind.

The 64’s two closest rivals could well be described the same. The Azimut Magellano 66 is every bit as modern as the Absolute while retaining a certain retro elegance. The Magellano goes for a more straightforward layout with four cabins including a full-beam Owner’s stateroom. The main salon is very traditional in its thinking with a forward galley up by the helm, leaving the aft lounge to open onto the cockpit and a dining area in between.

The Sirena 64 forms part of a trawler yacht fleet that is every bit as progressive and spacious as the Navettas, the 64 again coming with a four-cabin layout, a full-beam Owner’s suite and galley forward salon, this time with a dining area opposite.

Both yachts are four-cabin, but it is a small bunked fourth cabin in each case. Neither yacht offers the serious cruising credentials of a storage and utility room and, less surprisingly, an aft cabin and beach club. Yes, you have to pay extra for the Absolute’s fourth cabin, but what a fourth you will get.

  • Flybridge Absolute Navetta 64

The layout creates two superb seating areas. The central dining table and seats is served by a wetbar and grill, with a surround of seating around the helm station. The entire design is capped by an optional hardtop. This leaves the aft section open to the skies with options on seating designs or leaving the deck clear or loungers.

  • Main Deck Absolute Navetta 64

The galley aft design connects the interior and cockpit with doors and windows that open right up and a neat adjoining bar area. The deck salon leads to a raised helm, which creates headroom for the forward Owner's cabin. Outside, the forward lounge is reached via deep, safe decks and includes seating and a sunpad.
