On Deck

At the rear of the yacht is the beach club area. The adjustable seat here has a very clever design along with the overhead barbecue.  This is considered to be a lovely area for anchoring and connecting with the water.

Moving on to the cockpit, he appreciated the conventional seating area. He particularly liked the addition of stern handling and rope bins, as well as the trademark chunky Sunseeker stainless steel and logos.

On the outside, there is a massive dinette area, bar, additional seating, double helm, and sunbathing area. He also found the side decks and forward cockpit space impressive, noting the U-shaped cushions and table that can convert into a sunbathing area. There are high rails that make the boat safe.

Interior

Inside the yacht, the aft galley layout is very interesting, especially the sliding window feature which he thought was a neat solution for keeping things discreetly tucked away. He praised the size of the galley, noting the electric cooking facilities, fridge freezer, wine cooler, ice maker, and the ample workspace.

In the saloon area, there is a sociable seating area facing the TV, and large windows that offer excellent views. The helm position with classic diamond-quilted Sunseeker seats and an all-glass cockpit caught attention.

On the lower deck, he inspected the VIP guest cabin in the bow, noting the big windows, twin overhead hatches, ample storage, and dressing table. The second guest cabin also impressed him with its size, headroom, and views. He mentioned that both guest cabins share a day head with large windows, a blind, and separate shower stall. The master cabin, reserved for the owner, was described as massive with huge windows, a dinette area, and fantastic views.

Crew Accommodation

There is also access to a crew cabin from the beach club.  The cabin is currently being used as storage.

Performance

The boat's engines, accessible through the saloon, were an interesting point of discussion. The boat comes with two separate drive system options – conventional shaft drive or an IPS drive system. The engine room has space for its near-standing headroom, has room to work around the engines, and easy accessibility of all systems.  The engines are a pair of Volvo Penta D11-725s which give the boat around 30-31 knots.

In Summary

In conclusion, Nick thoroughly appreciated the Sunseeker Manhattan 52 and understood why it is one of Sunseeker's fastest-selling boats.
