The Amels 171 series presents a range of 52.3 metre tri-deck motor yachts built with steel hull and aluminium superstructure. The exterior design is the work of Tim Heywood while Laura Sessa Romboli has lent her talents to the interior. The shape of the line features strong feminine curves with bold verticals and horizontals that give the vessels a look of confidence and modernity.

About
The very first launch of the Amels 171 series, motor yacht Deniki, hit the water in 2007 and three have since followed in her footsteps. With basic parameters set by Amels, the rest of the yacht’s design is open to personalisation by the owner.
Generous spaces for outdoor entertainment are a highlight and the standard arrangement seeks to maximise privacy and leisure opportunities with efficient traffic flow solutions. The line is capable of accommodating 12 guests and 13 crew with an owner’s suite on the main deck and the guest suites located on the lower deck.
The design of the interior is available in three varying styles; contemporary, white, and classic. The first embraces a subtle modernity with hints of a casual island hideaway. Chosen woods include maple, bleached oak, sycamore or other light woods while darker colours are used for framing.
The white theme is somewhat reminiscent of a sailboat with its colour scheme of white, blue and dark wood; it combines fine woods, natural fabrics, soft colourings and comfortable furniture. The classic interior design uses mahogany, ash and sycamore to recreate the feeling of a seaside summer home.
The vessel has a cruising speed of 13 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots. A range of 4,500 nautical miles is possible when cruising at 13 knots.
Amels Limited Edition yachts are created using the same methods, materials, standards, and technology as Amels custom yachts but offer extensive options for personalisation that ensure no sister ship is ever the same.
